What impresses me about this game is how guardiola changed the team in such a crucial game because they were missing dani alves and abidal. Both of their full backs. I barely remember silvinho playing that season and i’m pretty sure puyol barely played right back in his career. Amazing job by yaya toure to play center back in a big game like that. And then what he did with messi in the ending of that 2008-09 season.. He began the season playing exclusively at the right side of the pitch and by the end he was playing that false 9 and moving everywhere. You see him even in the left side in this game. He ran the entire game and frustrated united’s defenders. Facing guys like Rooney, Tevez, Cristiano.. with big changes in the defense because of the players they were missing was very impressive

@@vasilis. Cristiano was much better than messi in that final, he dribble past the entire defense, especially Toure and Piqué. Unfortunately Valdés prevented him from scoring a goal.

@@Eduardosilva-zq3ch No viste el partido. Messi no había tocado la pelota hasta que hizo el gol de cabeza, sin marca, totalmente solo. Cristiano estuvo todo el partido regateando a Piqué, Touré, Puyol, disparando de fuera del area, generando ocasiones de gol. Messi tuvo la suerte de que Xavi le dió ese pase cuando él estaba solo en el area. Si no es por eso ni nos enteramos que jugó la final.
