@@sksrabon8573 Ideally vaccine should be given prior to surgery. However, If vaccine cannot be given prior to surgery, it is usually initiated after the surgery. There won't be much difference.

Wolf Chaikoff phenomenon is normal, when given excess iodine, TSH reduces and hence T3,T4 do too. But in Jod Basedow phenomenon, excess iodine actually increases TSH and thereby T3,T4 in people with iodine deficiency, for example when a person with endemic goitre starts taking iodine. This occurs cuz of loss of negative feedback from T3 T4 on thyroid gland
