Hi Tess, I just started receiving the kit. I tried it once before and thought I'd give it another try. I really like the Jan kit, hopefully the next will be good as well. I'm allergic to wool so crossing my fingers it won't be in any of the upcoming kits.

Love the hat and scarf pattern color way. You could make them and give them to charity as a set. Warm Up America was asked for hats and scarf set with/ without mitten as a winter set campaign. Caron cake color is pretty.

The Caron is beautiful and so is the Bernat yarn. I like the shawl and yarn better. You could totally wear that in the spring and fall. Can’t wait to see the shawl made up. Have a blessed night ❤❤❤

I really like the colorama, I got mine but decided to do a lapghan with it, a pattern from a previous MM kit, when I get the next kit with the Bernal wool, I think I’ll do a scoodie with it, part hat and scarf. My favorite is the Colorama.

Mary maxim is still my favorite kit. Sometimes I make different things with the yarn if i dont like the pattern.

The wavelength looks nice. I make hats through February for donation and this yarn is machine washable and dry friendly. I would probably do fingerless gloves instead of a scarf.

She says you get 50 Designs not 50 Patterns. No where on website is there a word about Patterns. I always listen to what is said and not said so I went to Amazon and read and it is 50 designs. I think using same Pattern in different ways is okey with me. Not getting facts right hurts the Designer.

I'd have to order more of the Bernat for either a wrap or enough for a blanket. A coordinating color, like on the label, would be pretty. Even though February can be the worst Winter weather month, I'm really not into making hats. So good to see you having fun with this.

Omg thank you for your honesty. I bought their box ONCE and it NEVER delivered for 3 months now. They never responded to me or gave me a refund. I had to contact my credit card company to get my refund back. Super sketchy. I deleted my account and told them to never email me. I still keep getting emails from them and get mad at each one.

Tess, you are so awesome at teaching crochet 💕 I crochet loose so not chaining so many in the corners and not chaining for the sides really helped me I think. I am going to try it later today. I usually chain 2 in the corners and 1 on the sides, but I would like to try your method 💜And I love the standing double crochet idea also. Blessings sweet lady 💜💜

GREAT video, Tess! I notice that you do not turn your granny for each row leaving all of the 'nice stitching' on the 'frontside'....but if you were to keep going and creating a good sized LARGER square, would your square be 'wonky' such as one sees and learns about all over youtube? I also use the 'fisherman's knot', otherwise known as a 'square knot' during my girl scout days....but I am very leary to cut the yarn close to it (such as one does with the 'magic knot'! I still go ahead and weave the lengths into the back of my work. Just seems too scary to create a large project only to let it come apart after a washing or so.....hummmm....
