Yes, you’re absolutely right - the old version had a lot of improvisation in the left hand, b/c I was playing from a leadsheet that I had hand-written out. This time around, I wanted the sounds to sustain more, so the left hand is less active. I also tried to stay more true to the source material from Beach House on the written version. Hello there! Thank you so much for writing. That makes me happy, to know that you got so many compliments for performing Myth last year. Making these arrangements is fun for me, but I have to admit that they’re also somewhat time-consuming. I teach piano at a college, so during the school year, I don’t have time to put out as much music as I’d like to. Right now, I’m working on “Pink Funeral” and “Bluebird”- I’ve had several requests for those two. But I’d love do “Through Me” and “L’inconnue” after that, as those are 2 of my favorites So please stay tuned and I will sure let you know when I can get those two done!
