      im not sure this will help your problem (I'm not as smart as this person) but after changing the geolocation on the iPhone you must reset the phone so it can be spoofed again. Basically after spoofing the phone, you must reset it because any further signals received after you stopped the spoofing will not be read until the Iphone is reset (reset as in hard power off)

    my question is, do you really need a NN for this? looking at what classifies as spoofing and jamming (from the video) it seems decently easy to figure out, you can probably do this with an expert system too, right? Thanks a lot

    • @GPSPATRON
      @GPSPATRON Год назад

      A very good and valid question. Indeed, to detect very brute asynchronous spoofing it is not necessary to use any sophisticated detection systems. It is enough just to monitor basic metrics. The problems start when detecting: low power asynchronous spoofing, low power coherent fake signal, quasi-coherent spoofing. Basic detection looks very easy. But to cover all possible scenarios we have already spent more than 3 years and continue to improve our algorithms so the system can work not only in ideal laboratory conditions but also in real city environments with complicated reception conditions, multipath, and industrial interference.

    I have a question. This kind of instrument is able to detected if a determinate zone/position is compatible to make multiple Gps receiver reach a stable RTK+? I would like to use it in a pretest phase in my company .

    • @GPSPATRON
      @GPSPATRON Год назад

      Hi Davide. First of all, the device is designed to analyze GNSS interference. If we take into account that one of the reasons for the lack of a stable RTK solution may be interference in the GNSS band, the instrument can help here. But if your problem is related to complicated conditions of the GNSS signals reception (closed sky, multipath), then it will not help. We have a cloud service GP-Cloud in which you can stream your data in RTCM@NTRIP format and analyze the quality of GNSS signals reception. Maybe it can help.

    • @davidl5786
      @davidl5786 Год назад

      @@GPSPATRON Thank you for your reply .well my situation is a bit complicated . In my company we use multiple uavs and each has its own RTK GPS , capable of achieving RTK+ accuracy . An RTK base is also used to send any rtk corrections. Since they are flying UAVs they need to be as stable as possible in flight and thus maintain RTK+. The instrument we are looking for is a high quality instrument that can tell us (in a location survey phase) if that location has interference due to radio signals, obstacles or any other problem , which does not allow the GPS of the UAVs to reach a constant RTK+. To answer your question , we are not looking for overly complicated problems , but simply figuring out whether a given area is suitable for GPS flight ( with an accuracy of centimeters) , through an analysis. One of our perquisites is that there be as large a portion of the sky as possible and away from obstacles that create multipath, but very often there are radio or LTE antennas that jam GNSS frequencies.

    • @GPSPATRON
      @GPSPATRON Год назад

      @@davidl5786 Thank you for providing more information about your situation. I suggest the following configuration: 1. Redirect the RTCM data stream from your RTK base station to GP-Cloud. This will allow you to monitor the performance of the base station used by your drones during operations. If you're using Septentrio, that's great, as we support their binary data format. 2. Redirect the NMEA@NTRIP data stream from your drones to GP-Cloud. This will enable real-time logging and assessment of your drone receivers, allowing you to analyze their performance. 3. Deploy several of our GP-Probe devices in the field to perform a comprehensive evaluation and localization of interference sources. This will help identify potential causes of disruptions in the drone receivers' operation and provide insights into maintaining stable RTK+ accuracy. By implementing this configuration, you will be able to better understand and address any GNSS reception issues that may affect your UAVs' performance. If you have any questions or need assistance setting up this configuration, please don't hesitate to reach out. Best regards, GPSPATRON Support Team

    Hi thank you very much for this wonderful demonstration ! Could you tell me which GNSS jammer had you used in the experiment? Or maybe just a link to GNSS jammer would be very helpful ... Thank you

      Hi Heinz, We used a common frequency-modulated jammer we bought from an online store. Unfortunately, I can not provide a link, so as not to contribute to the distribution of these things.

    Could you broadcast an RF signal and actually show Google maps being spoofed?

      Nick, be careful with this kind of activity. It is illegal in most countries. I mean to broadcast such signals

    Please, Why did you plug the cellphone with a cable in hack RF instead of use the antenna transmitting ?

      The cellphone is send8ng the GPS signal data file to the hackrf. You could also use a computer (Linux, Mac or windows)

    Hi I am generating a csv file with ECEF positions using a SPG4 propagator, to simulate an orbit, I am trying to load it into the software it does the whole procedure but the GPS ublox Neo M8T, that I am using does not engage with this file. I am using a Neo 6 GPS and the system does work, what can I do to make it work with the Neo M8T. Thanks David

      Hi David. What software do you use for GPS signal simulation? What hardware?

    Hi, nice work! Why is important and challenging to select a "suitable power/distance combination" between the receiver and the spoofer?

    • @GPSPATRON
      @GPSPATRON 2 года назад

      Spoofer --> receiver distance is not very important. It is critical to choose the distance between the jammer, spoofer, and receiver. The jammer must block the original GLONASS and Beidou signals. At the same time jammer should not suppress fake spoofer signals.

      but why we need jammer if the transmit position of our Hackrf is nearest, so should be the strongest? And you may forgot mentioned about TCXO clock for hackrf as well?

    • @xNUKEx

      @@IdrusAlhamid-jz9jt you need to jam the original signals so the receiver will pick up the spoofed ones - think about it like its not a radio because the signal must be confirmed before they are read (like Bluetooth compared to FM radio) - also if you do not jam the original signals, the Spoof protection on the receiver will pick up on the false signals (like how the GLONASS and Beidou were considered "spoofed" signals after the original jamming)
