The only way to stop litter is to educate the public not to drop litter and to bin it and to place litter bins all over the place with regular emptying. In the dry season as well as the rainy season, the local authorities need to sweep the streets and lift it all. Fines need to be placed for those dropping litter so that people need to not drop it in the first place and to take a pride in their surroundings.
