This is commonly called "floating" the stator for full wave rectification

How do I know if my lammy is 12v or 6v . Not the brightest when it comes to electrics. Cheers love your videos. David

3 years later, and I've only just found this. Handmade electronics for Lambrettas! It's just amazing what has been made for the scooters that we love. If you'd ever make more of these, I'd like to be customer.

I know I'm commenting 3 years late. I had no idea how labor intensive it is to make these. Fair play for making so many of them. I had thought only a couple dozen had been made. I've wanted one for quite some time. Is there any chance that you'll make another batch of them? I'd love to add one to my touring Lambretta GP200 project here in California, with an ultra bright screen though, because of all the sunshine we get here.

Very good demo. 👍 I bought one a while ago. But yet to fit it. I was waiting for my sip 2.0 speedo. Do I wire the sip speedo as dc or ac? I'm guessing dc as that is was the intelli-converter was built for.

I've got the same problem that your customer with my BGM V4 stator: no spark when engine is warm. I had a clue with your diagnostic led CDI. For the first time, I regret my college years when I used an oscilloscope... I hope i'll manage to solve the problem with your new pick-up. Thanks for the video.

UPDATE.. it started and it pops with 120w... Anthony?... I have your full set up, what's the score with full DC as you mentioned?, I thought the brown was for toys..

I have an electric fault on my 150 li s3 lambretta basically no lights or horn would that be the stator lighting coil fault because it kickstarts nearly first kick every time but sometimes misfires?

Well done a nice and clean high quality wiring loom, compliments. Have you ever thought of building six-pole stators for vespa (large/small) ac/dc with high quality components such as those for lambretta, because on the market even new spare parts are not good quality products.

Does it have a back cover ? As it looks like a dash mount tachometer. Good size 8000 will suit most people but I would need 10000 mate .

Nice to here a bloke that knows what he's talking about. Twisted crank is very common and most people don't know it's happened. Big gap little gap and tell tail rubbing on one side .... keep the vids coming mate . Good luck from weasel .
