I like all the films in the Alien franchise the only one for me that was just average would be Alien Covenant for me loved all the others and Alien Romulus I thought was really good and I have the 4k as well.

I could only get a foreign language release on blu ray of the first one and it seemed to be heavily edited in comparison to what I remember of the film when I saw it on TV, so I had to get the dvd and the dvd version was the uncut one I remembered. Hi Jon. Thank you for the bumper episode today. I really enjoyed it. I loved Prometheus. One of my favourite films. I still haven't seen alien Romulus because I just thought it's going to be the same old story so I'm still debating over it. The 4K release looks tempting though. I half expected a xenomorph to appear at the end of your video! Take care mate.

Good unboxings and reviews of The Sixth Sense and Signs both good films from M. Night Shyamalan I am thinking of picking up Signs on 4k when it gets cheaper as seen The Sixth Sense quite a few times but will pick that up eventually anyway.

I also have the two 4K Steelbook variants of Deadpool & Wolverine. Couldn't buy one without the other!

Are the bbfc certs printed on the front cover?

Yes just as I said the storage of the dusc in the digipak not good but the pictures outside and inside are lovely but a fingerprint magnet on the outside case as well.

The packaging got me excited until you revealed how the disc is stored. Nevermind. There is the steel book so no worries there. I liked your sound effects for the magnetic closure. 😂 I love your book mate, if I could buy it twice I would. Take care bud. Good to see ya.

The way that disc slides in and out is a deal breaker for me. They really went cheap on the packaging.

I've never ever seen the original which I'm very ashamed of. There was a really good film based on Nosferatu called shadow of a vampire. I am unsure if it's on blu ray but that might be worth you checking out. I haven't seen the brand new Nosferatu but I look forward to when you get the 4K release. Take care mate. Good to see ya.

I miss physical media but I hate it when it comes to TV Shows I have the first 6 volumes of Family Guy on DVD that I have rarely used just because there were episodes I wanted to watch uncensored I hate that streaming services like Disney+ don't use the uncensored versions of the episodes streaming is going to replace physical media and I would hate having to pay just for a few 20 minute tv show episodes it's bullshit I wish there was a filter that could set the episodes to cesnored or uncensored like Disney+ does with The Simpsons which in default is the remastered to the 16:9 remaster you can set it to it's original aspect ratio I had Disney+ in the past now I hate Disney

Don’t know how you feel about audio commentaries, as they tend to reveal the 'movie magic', however … I’ve just watched this 4K with Frank Darabont's commentary, and it’s really good, full of interesting facts and memories.

Such a good film, I never realised it was a 3hr movie - totally engaged throughout. An odd thing with the characters & performances was, I hated Percy MORE than I hated Wild Bill! - Doug Hutchison & Sam Rockwell did a superb acting job … and there was a mouse in it 🤣

You didn’t mention that Edmund Gwenn was in 'Them!' - quite appropriate for today (Xmas eve) as he played Santa in the original 'Miracle on 34th Street'.

Gotta love a '50s creature feature, on DV🤢D I’ve got 'The Wasp Woman' (1959) - the tag line for it was “A beautiful woman by day - A lusting queen wasp by night” can’t see it being available in 4K very soon.

Ok … this was the first 'X' certificate film I saw at the cinema - I was 15 years old in '78 and my older sister snuck me in. Fell in love with Brooke Adams and followed her career after. I’ve owned this film on ALL formats because of the nostalgia (plus it’s a cracking film) and Brooke 🥰 and have Kino Lorber's 4K as well as Arrow's. Arrow's release is slightly better than Kino's btw. Really pleased you like it also … and probably like Brooke too 😊

Sorry, the hypnosis ain’t gonna work this time - the film may be well executed but the conclusion frustrated me. Granted, I’ve only watched it once and should give it another look, but it’s not on my shopping list … yet. Keen to hear your thoughts on the two 4K versions of Shaun of the Dead. I’ve only got this new version (bought today actually) so, eager to know the differences.
