Problems with my C7 Corvette. Trunk keeps popping by itself!

I had a problem with my Procharged & built 2014 Corvette Z51. The trunk kept popping open by itself, right hand turn signal hyper-flashing, rear camera not working and the battery kept dying! Mine did that so I ran a kill switch to the negative terminal… problem solved. Fixed … not actually solved.
What size bolts are used?
I have a 14 vert and going thru this issue as soon as i get close with fob trunk pops open. Stock taillights. I did have a powered sub installed in trunk.
I've checked every damn fuse twice and nothing, alternator is not the cause. Gonna check the bright light switch. It comes on sometimes when everything is off & lights aren't on bright...Nothing in any of the cigarette lighters

Ours is doing the same thing any suggestions on how to fix? Pulled fuzes and checked connectors as well as switches it will go anywhere from 3 days to 15 minutes at the gas pump to for the battery to die

how about the negative battery cable connection or the aftermarket alarm or radio wiring , when I don't lock the doors with my key fob the battery doesn't drain good luck I have a 04 suburban yes check to see if the front seat motors are hot too.👍
I have the same issue with my morimoto lights . the driver side one is doing that hyper flashing , it wasnt doing at 1st when i installed them....
Awwww man I have the SAME ISSUE with those taillights except mines is the drivers side !!! DAMN I have to take THAT BUMPER off again huh??!! 🤦🏾♂️

all that work and you stayed at 600hp? you could have gotten that easily with just the SC and meth.. with the forged bottom end you should be pushing 800rwhp+ with ease in the totally safe zone.
Oh definitely. With an LT4 fuel pump, injectors, headers and a smaller pulley I'd be well into the mid to high 800 range. I just wanted to stay safe on it and not push it too far too fast.
@@boostnloose637 there is an z06 inj and pump for 500 right now on Corvette forums. Nearly bought it myself for my procharged Z51

Same Rig….same Problem …20% battery drop overnight….looking at the Starter….one guy said he did so on a whim…experiencing draw….and it was the cure…new Starter….I am looking at the under driver seat connections and wires tomorrow…good luck.
So far I've been able to leave the rig parked for 2 to 3 weeks and it cranks right up nice and strong. Apparently I've unknowingly fixed the issue. I literally unplugged and reconnected every single electrical connection on it and only found 2 that had some blue corrosion that I fixed. I did replace the alternator, a sunroof switch and recovered the 3 piece headliner. I wish I knew what I did but I literally have no idea. 🤣
@@boostnloose637 sounds good …i just put a New NAPA Alternator on and it made noise on start up… drove about 50 miles over 2 days… now it gets red Hot and makes more Noise…that is bad..parts are crap now… said it was Tested… BS….gonna try again and put the new Starter on and hope i got a good one… this is getting old fast … i will try all the connectors.. just did all the Ground connections…hope i find the Parasite soon.
@@rayn3038 I totally agree with the cheap parts. You'll find it, it took me 3 weeks of trying everything before the problem fixed itself lol

I was just watched your video was awesome I couldn't figure why my trunk was popping up I was getting so mad as I felt like you and said I'm gonna burn this damn thing lol I really hope it's water not sure how to drain it but I do have a air blower thnx for your time 💯✌️💯
Remove that rear bumper and check out the 3 main connectors! Id be willing to bet that is the issue!
Ive got the same problem battery dead in a week
I have accidentally fixed the problem. I wish I knew what I done but I can tell you it wasn't easy. There isn't a electrical connection on that rig I didn't unplug and check. There was only 2 plugs that had corrosion, but I corrected that issue. I dropped the headliner and had the 3 pieces recoverd with new fabric. There was only 2 items I replaced, the alternator and sunroof switch. So I honestly have no idea what the "fix" was. Good luck finding your issue bud!

That cam makes for a nice raspy exhaust note! I got the same white '14 but with the P1SC @ about 7-8lbs. Front main is leaking ... did you upgrade yours to an LS3? I guess that's the solution, along with a breather/catch can for boosted LT1s. Anyway, gonna get that fixed here come Spring, and get headers installed along with a new tune. Locked into Winter here in MT for now.

Wow!!! I installed the same taillights on my 2019 C7 and immediately had the same issue with the right blinker. It started drizzling before i finished putting the bezels on. I took the bumper off 4 times trying to figure out what was wrong but didn’t unplug the connectors. It’s doing the fast blinking as I’m typing this comment. I can’t wait to try what you did tomorrow and finally get rid of this issue
