When Dad was thinking about moving closer to downtown, he had the opportunity to buy this house, back before Bob Hopes built his new house. His wife decided not to cuz it had a cold feeling, like a museum... It woulda been so cool to live there.

This house, Elrod House designed by John Lautner, looks exactly as if Ken Adam had designed it.
