I first heard this song four years ago when I still lived with my parents in an abusive household (I was 17) "I'll find my own way out of here" struck me deeply and I adopted it as a mantra to keep going. My parents always told me how scary the real world was and how I'll never survive in it without them, and took every precaution to make sure that I didn't have everything to get on my feet (hiding my original birth certificate and social security card so I wouldn't be able to have enough documentation to get a state ID) But now I'm 25, independent, living on my own just fine. When I think of my teenage years I think of you guys. Ever since I was 14 I would listen to Marigold on repeat, legitimately 300+ plays. And as if to wrap up my childhood, I listened to this song as I ran away from home (at 18) with some clothes and my laptop. Because of you guys, I was never alone. Thank you.

I ADORE this song....wish there was a flashing warning though...I'm not epileptic and the flashing is way too much without warning in the beginning
