Good video, like the extra run time -- but if that was a CAT4, then Hurricane Charley, that hit the same area, was a CAT5. Much much smaller and faster moving storm, that thing was like a huge tornado. This to me, looked more like a CAT3 storm, but we know the NHC loves to inflate everything now so they can scream about how everything is constantly getting worse, and they need more money because of it. BUT, again, great job with the video.

It’s hard to tell what you’re seeing in the whiteout conditions in the eyewall. Some of what you’re seeing in the eyewall are sheets of rain blowing by in the wind. However, some of what you’re seeing in the eyewall is actually clouds at ground level blowing by. It’s a process of condensation in extreme winds very similar to the condensation of the funnel cloud of a tornado.

This is absolutely INCREDIBLE, David! So much additional detail , data and video! It's also cool to see all your data points mapped out... it's really helpful to compare that against other observations. And those winds during the back-half, when you were at US41 & Gardner Dr., are insane!!! Excellent presentation and editing!

This is AWESOME, David! It's so cool to be able to see new video and different vantage points, from other parts of the island! MARIA was such a truly historic hurricane impact for Puerto Rico and it's hard to believe six years have already passed.
