Why are expensive cameras always packed like crap? 🥴
Theyre meant to protect it while in shipping. This is a Leica but one made in China with lower specs and thus MSRP, but even high end gear usually come in disposable boxes
Boxes are there to protect the camera for shipping and are designed to be disposable. Do you put your camera back in the box after use ?
If you plan to possibly sell it down the road in order to upgrade, keeping the box in good shape is a good idea. That said, expensive cameras are not packed like crap. Theyre not just not packed the way some other luxury items (eg pens, watches) bc theyre usually not stored that way after purchasing
