Just a Tapping 8M bit is enough and (4) 8M screws with a 10mm head bolt or 5mm hex is enough…I have both! Changing the engine oil filter is a breeze! Much needed upgrade.

Not bad at all. Hundreds have installed and not a single complaint about airflow. I have admins as well in Florida and Texas . I’m also a cold freak. I cannot stand hot weather , so if there was the slightest issue with them, I would have gotten rid of my person one for another model like the t10V4 that I just launched.

1- yes , all headunits come with wireless 🛜 built in CarPlay and android auto. 2- it’s a matter of memory and ram, like a computer, iPad, notebook, why do you get more ram in a phone or a tablet or a PC ? Same same 3- no , a sim is not needed, think of it like an iPad with sim capabilities, it still works with any wifi or sharing your phone’s internet . When and if you decide to have a sim down the road, you’ll be using the headunit like your phone, standalone. Makes sense ?

Nope, I’m only doing the 2 current colors on the T12V2 . The flat black looks cheap on it. There my truck, I have everything flat matte black inside it , except the radio . Which turned out amazing

​@@KingSev yes, that's the order number. My brother in law has the v3.1 and enjoys the unit but wishes there was a one-touch on and off button (physical or not) as well as one for muting audio. He recommended the v2 for this reason but I decided to order the v4 for looks and the bigger screen. Any chance you are thinking of implementing this? And also, I assume the issue with the v4 trim has been addressed and that's why they were back in stock? Thanks!

@@leekm159 correct the V4 trim been addressed and that’s when I released them again. We returned 289 units and guess who took them lol 😆 Nice choice on the 14” you’re going to love it

Shark fin is NOT gps , it’s XM radio. Your oem GPS antenna is behind the radio as well, where I installed the one that came with it. And to answer your question better, yes you can use the oem gps antenna which is behind the radio as well, but you need to source out from amazon, a third party harness , which there are multiple posts in the headunit group (link to join in description of this video) and many people have done it.

Absolutely not . Too much water . Will ruin engine parts, especially electronics. Pressure washer is controlled water . Even the pressure washer is over… but I’ve been doing this for a long time and I know which angels to hit and where to be further away to not ruin electronics.

T12V2 dominates the radio / infotainment market right now, for our runners . It uses both, BT & WiFi .

Absolutely not, every unit comes with its own standalone gps to be used offline, like our oem radios. Think of it like an iPad or tablet that is capable of having a SIM card in it to function solo, without your phone. So technically , if you get a sim down the road, you can leave the house without your phone (kind of) Anything you can use on your phone, you can do exactly same and more with this headunit. So RUclips works … Thanks

Of course . Either WiFi or you tether / hotspot from your phone and if you don’t want to use either internet . Then download whatever You want to watch or listen for offline use , on your radio
