How does programming like this work? (ie not percentage based) it seems much simpler than a percentage based program and seems like a lot of people use it (you, John Haack, etc)
Or how are the numbers picked for comp lifts I guess I should say
I use percentages and RPE in my programs. Usually I pick a number that I want to end the block with, and then I work my way backwards week by week with the jumps that I’ve determined are best for that individual or myself
Both RDL and Leg curls load with full stretch (him flexion+knee extension) though, right? I think a prone leg curl would be more for the shortened position. The seated and rdl just work the hamstring across different joints from one another.
@@StephColbertsonStrength kind of an oversight on my part but I’d still opt for the seated leg curl since it’s shown slightly better muscle growth than a lying leg curl

Bruh, I'm totally addicted to going for RPE 10, like every single set, every single exercise I dialed the volume down to overcome it, but it just doesn't work, never injured, just no progress Gotta humble myself and dial down the intensity

Great video. Why do you do high reps (10+) on accessory exercises. Wouldn't you be stronger doing 5 reps?
Im trying to build muscle without too much fatigue or injuring myself. And I do plenty of training in the 1-8 rep range with my competition movements
