'Umar bin Al-Khattab may Allah be pleased with him reported: I sought permission of the Prophet sallullahu alaihi wasullam to perform 'Umrah and he granted me leave and said, "Brother, do not forget us in your supplications." I would not exchange these words of his for the whole world. Another narration is: He sallullahu alaihi wasullam said, "Include us, my brother, in your supplications." (Riyad-us-saliheen) Volume 1, Hadith number 714 and it's recorded in [Abu-Dawud and At-Tirmidhi] The importance and virtue of Dua for your brother's in there absence.

Abdullah bin Abu Aufa may Allah be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of Allah sallullahu alaihi wasullam gave glad tidings to Khadijah (wife of the Messenger) may Allah be pleased with her about a palace of hollowed pearls in Jannah, free from noise and toil. (Riyad-us-saliheen) Volume 1, Hadith number 708 and it's recorded in [Al-bukhari and Muslim]

Aishah may Allah be pleased with her reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah sallullahu alaihi wasullam supplicating in my house: 'O Allah! Treat harshly those who rule over my Ummah with harshness, and treat gently those who rule over my Ummah with gentleness". (Riyad-us-saliheen) Volume 1, Hadith number 655 and it's recorded in [Muslim]

Abu Hurairah may Allah be pleased with him reported: A man said to the Messenger of Allah sallullahu alaihi wasullam "I have relatives with whom I try to maintain good relationship but they sever relations with me; whom I treat kindly but they treat me badly, with whom I am gentle but they are rough to me." He sallullahu alaihi wasullam replied, "If you are as you have said, then it is as though you are feeding them hot ashes and you will not be without a supporter against them from Allah, as long as you do so." Abu Umamah Al-bahili may Allah be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of Allah sallullahu alaihi wasullam said, "I guarantee a house in Jannah for one who gives up arguing, even if he is in the right; and I guarantee a house in the middle of Jannah for one who abandons lying even for the sake of fun; and I guarantee a house in the highest part of Jannah for the one who has good manners."
