Thank you for this video as I have been brain storming how I can hide my street lamp wires bec I'm going to try this year your cork sidewalks! But i was going to cut the cork in squares (sidewalk squares) and run the wire along side the squares to hide them but its difficult. So I will try out this video. Do you think mod podge the snow over the wire works? Or did your snow kept itself in place hiding wires? Thank you!

I did a similar method to create my mountains this year, but for the adhesive, I used a pva glue and water mix for anyone who can't get hold of that particular spray.
Sounds good I will try your method as well. 🎄💕 The spray can be expensive depending on the project .

So beautiful! I am in the process of attempting to build my first mountain village but have such a hard time making my hands do what I see in my mind's eye.. staging the houses and figurines I have no problem with but I have no manual skills whatsoever😅 Not giving up though...
Begin with a simple idea-like a small mountain and allow your creativity to flourish from there. It may not turn out exactly as you envisioned, but the result will likely exceed your expectations. The important thing is to take that first step and dive into the creative process.🎄💕
How thick is the best cork sheet to get ?
I like to work with the 1/4 “ thick cork sheets. Amazon has good deals now, many different vendors. :)

Thank you for your message! Sorry for the delay in responding. I typically use diorama turf sheets that I buy from Michael’s stores or Amazon. For Christmas Villages, I use styrofoam and cork sheets for roads and pathways, and for winter landscaping scenes, I layer diorama turf with snowflakes on top for a realistic look.
