Esse filme fez tanto sucesso que a Nintendo contratou o Chris Meledandri (CEO da Illumination) para trabalhar como diretor externo deles! Ou seja, a parceria da Nintendo com a Illumination só esta começando!
E o melhor! A Illumination fez isso porque vai parar de dublar o Mario após vários anos! Então pra termos uma despedida do dublador! Eles deixaram ele dublar esse personagem em vários idiomas incluindo o Brasil!
Lógico que apesar de não dublar mais o Mario! O Charles vai continuar trabalhando como divulgador das produções de Mario! E acho que esse filme é o principal!
