Magnetic surface grinder attachment for Revolution Belt Sander. This solves the issue of adding a surface grinder attachment to your Revolution for a fraction of the cost of alternatives. It uses the same 1 1/2" steel tubes and doesn't require any alteration to your current belt sander. The greatest advantage is the magnets can be turned on and off.

This is an entry in the Great Guitar Build off 2022. Its a flying Vee shape. 6 species of wood are used to provide a pleasing color contrast. The top is inset into the body with binding trim. The neck heel is carved in a smooth transition. CNC and a significant amount of hand work has gone into the build.

This is a quick overview of a resonator guitar I just finished. It's a bit different in design and also incorporated a kick out knee rest for comfortable playing. The body is thin about 1.75 inches. The resonator cone is over 1.5 inches deep. I also added a Seymor Duncan pickup with a variable selected tone. I had a lot of fun building this. It plays super but setting it up was a job. PART 2 DESTRUCTION OF CARBON GUITAR Part 1 showed how to mold a CF guitar. Unfortunately all footage for part 2 was lost. Due to comments from those wishing a part 2 I reconstructed info with vital details to show how to complete a project. Since I had to essentially destroy the guitar to show the inner details this doesn't show placement of electronics and fretting.

My first day with Ortur laser. I was surprised how easy it was to assemble and start etching. It is a low wattage diode laser with limitations but it does a great job on many substrates. It does not replace the more powerful CO2 lasers.

This just an AWSOME Guitar!! And it shows us all that we are way to "focused" on the wood in the prescription of the guitars we are looking to buy.

You are giving me ideas. I was frustrated with my table saw fence system and build a nice sliding fence with guide rails. But locking them with the small hole in the guide itself is not adequate.
Man could you guys talk any softer? What do you builders take NyQuil or something? So laid back I got my phone volume all the way up and can hardly hear you.

Nice work! How do the Harbor Freight files hold up? Just getting started with file work and need to get a set! And where did you get your jewelers saw?
They last for dozens of knives. The jewelers saw is just an inexpensive one from amazon. The blades I use are #4 PIKE jewelers saw blades also on amazon. Don't get cheap blades you will get frustrated!

A beautiful build. I use the same stuff in a 1x6 on most of my builds (select New Zealand pine). What were the laminates and stains used?
its been a long time. I use Angelus dyes but I no longer have the guitar so I can;t remember all the woods used.

Sorry for my naivete. Is there any possible way this build could be done without the vacuum bag?
It would be very difficult to get and even depth of resin, However if you did one layer at a time it could be done.

I built an Amazon list with some the parts last month. Will modify with the smaller mag switches now...good video!

could you tell me what size files you used? Love to give this a try, excellent video, please do some more.
I just use a set of needle files from Harbor freight under heading of precision needle files 4.99. I used these on many knives and if they ever wearout cheap to replace. I'm going to be making a few knives and should have more on file work.
I'd love to see part 2 I want to see how you fuse the 2 halves together, I'm about to start a project like this myself, probably do it in fiberglass first just to see how it goes.

Never thought of using binding like that! I love it!
Its a bit of a steal from Knaggs guitars but I like the effect.
That central red stripe really makes it pop. And the binding is very nice.

So i guess if someone uses vacuum bags for clothes and uses a regular vacuum he wont achieve the same amount of pressure?
No you really need to get a super vacuum and hold it for several hours. Considering all the work involved and the cost of carbon fiber I would not reccomend

unfortunately lost a lot of footage with a computer crash. I'm trying to put together a part two.. hopefuly out in a few weeks . I've been busy airbrushing race helmets.
