A little aurora borealis came by to visit along with the Perseid meteor shower. The lights of hikers in the distance can be seen probably doing the same thing I was. Photographing the night sky and un-hooking for a while

You have been blessed
Nice photo. What are the exposure settings?
Thank you, this was at ISO 400, 4seconds per shot
@@alolkoydesigns good detail and nice dynamic range, I should test it in low light too
What is the biggest difference between the Nikon P 900 and the Nikon P 950, I can't decide, I just want to zoom in on the sky?
@@KarlSchmitt-yk5cc if you only want to point and shoot the 950 might be overkill for you. The 950 can shoot in RAW format so that you can edit in an app for clearer sharper images
@@alolkoydesigns Thanks for the quick reply, then it will be a Nikon P950
Oh that's so beautiful. I MISS ARIZONA SO MUCH!!!
BEAUTIFUL SONG AND PRETTY LITTLE BIRD 🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🍁🍁🍁🎃🎃🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Absolutely glorious!
Awesomeness!!!
Whoa! Look at all the ants. :o)
A bobcat. Whoa!
Hey! I recently wrapped up my crime documentary, and I'm eager to hear your thoughts. If you could spare a moment to watch the video and provide your feedback, that would be awesome.
Nice-looking hawk!
What a big snake.
Thinks
😢
👽
😊
I liked Pee Wee still watch his shows
nice filming Charlie
nice fliming Charlie
Looks like a great Hat Band.😊
Oh my gosh! :o)
He's A Big 1.
So good! Keep going! How old are you anyway?
Thanks! I'm 65
RIP.
I keep seeing coyotes, but they're so quick and slick that it's tough to get a photo or video.
Yes this blurry photo was all I could get. It kept ducking behind bushes
Wow, wow, wow, you got some pretty shots!
Thank you my friend!
As much as I love pigs this is not okay. Amusing to you maybe but not to your neighbor.
Being that I have expressed no opinion you have no idea if I find this amusing do you?
I'm guessing your neighbor doesn't have a fenced or enclosed backyard?
No, this was at an apartment complex I used to live at. People in the area had a bad habit of leaving food out for them and they got acclimated
@@alolkoydesigns Ahhh I've noticed on occasion in these neighborhoods in Green Valley, where, there's a bunch of oranges or other snacks behind someone's backyard. I'm guessing it's someone who wants to attract javelinas!
It's funny looking at animals go poop 👍
Oh my gosh, look at all the baby quails!
Wow! That's such a neat video. You'd think the roadrunner would be less scared because it's bigger!
I'm guessing the quail has a nest somewhere nearby.
Thanks fot the video. Can you give me the exact model please? Thanks
Link is in the description
@@alolkoydesigns Yes, i saw it. But when i click on it, it shows me 7 models :-S
Pretty bird. :)
Nice clouds, but I've got to say I was focused more on those palm trees. :)
Lol thanks, I like the little wisps of smoke coming from the homes :)
I was thinking in buying a Nikon p950
That is pretty neat, Charlie. Maureen
Thanks! Fancy meet'n you here :)
Well, that was interesting, it started out like the camera was on the back of the bike. I got it turned around, all makes sense now.
Ya, it's really counter intuitive how you're supposed to face the camera
Beautiful
Funny, I just typed in a search for "Catalinas" to test our privacy settings as we don't broadcast and your vid popped up and I had it search by last hour and baam! We were in our side by side on the back side of Mt. Lemmon this past weekend and man, it's soooo green out there right now after all the monsoon action. Is your vid taken from one of the first pullouts at the base? Looks familiar but with all the lush green I am uncertain.
Hi Bizill, this is one of the first pull outs as you are going to the Romero Pools on Romero Canyon Trail. That's an interesting way you arrived at my vid lol.
They like to eat prickly pears? Geez.
Especially these kinds. They barely have any spines
@@alolkoydesigns I believe that variety is called "Indian Fig Prickly Pear." It has a base similar to a tree.
awesome.
Don't be scared Charlie! You're going to be okay! That flying maneuver that this Cooper's Hawk did to you is known as "mobbing". This is when a smaller bird dives at a larger animal to ward it away from its nest. This is not a direct attack however, it is a swoop where the bird purposely misses so that it protects itself from that animal just in case the animal strikes back! The only way to avoid that from happening again is to just not move (and preferably sitting on the ground instead of standing) and give the hawk more time to adjust to your presence.
Thank you Jeremy, I got a sense of that. I averted my eyes but could hear a large flap noise as if it put on the brakes at the last moment.
Hi Jeremy, I changed the title to "startling". I don't want people thinking hawks are something to be feared. I want people to love them as I do.
Exactly! No-one should fear a hawk! It is a majestic creature that you can build a relationship with over time!
Ha ha ha ! I had to put the playback speed at it’s lowest. Awesome Charlie!
:)
My back yard was covered by 4 inches of water 3 times in July, August. The shrubs and trees loved it
I was there, I run the river walk every day. The river was wild
Those who don't live here don't realize that our rivers don't usually have water in them. This is a big deal for us.
That is almost surfable..
Looks like the Verdi river ?
Hi Jane, this is the Canada Del Oro
Now that’s beautiful thank you Mother Nature there shouldn’t be another water shortage
This is so nice to see during this awful drought. Hope it's a sign of more to come this summer and winter!
Water...the desert's best friend💧
Please make more videos of the (the loop)
