hey! i just did my G2 (G1 exist) test today in haweskbury and passed! we did this exact route. i was asked to park uphill, do a 3-point turn right after, and then do a parallel park. i was not asked to do a reverse park. very straight forward and easy!

Yes they always ask for parallel parking. Sometimes reverse parking as well

If there is no speed sign then it is counted as 50 Km/h speed limit.
Even if it’s a narrow street and there are a lot of stop signs?!

Thank you for making this video. I had my G2 test today and the instructor took this exact same route. The only difference was i was asked to do a reverse parking when we returned to the test center.

They're open for booking but your looking at 4 to 6 months wait

Where do they ask to do parallel parking if possible can you do a tutorial.
I don't live nearby. Sorry it will not be possible to make a video soon. They randomly ask to do the parallel parking on the road. It is actually not that tough here. They just ask to stop near a car and show them the parallel parking.

Hello is there any instructor you can recommend at that location?
In case this is helpful to anyone, I just took my g2 (g1 exit) road test today at this location and passed! We actually took a different route than the one in this video. We turned right at the first intersection (Cartier Blvd) and took the 3rd exit in the roundabout onto James St. Turned right on james and then left onto Nelson st. We turned left onto Gordon street and this is where I was asked to perform the maneuvers. I thought I was only going to have to do 2 but I was asked to do 3. I did uphill parking, parallel parking and a three point turn. The 3 point turn brought us back onto Nelson where we drove all the way to the intersection and turned left onto McGill St. Finally, we turned left back onto Spence (where we started) and turned right into the drive test centre parking lot where I was asked to park in any of the spots I preferred. I wasn’t asked to reverse park into my parking spot at the end of the test but some people are asked to do that. And my examiner was SO NICE!! It’s much less stressful than you imagine it to be. Just check your mirrors and blind spots and show the examiner you are aware of the what’s around you. Also keep the speed limit! In Hawkesbury it’s most 40km/h everywhere except McGill st. Is 50 km/h. Good luck!

@@avagrimes9321 glad I could help! And in case you’re super nervous, just know that it’s actually really easy! I was crazy nervous before my test but it went by super quickly. Everyone says how important it is to keep checking your mirrors every few seconds but my instructor barley even looked at me during the test. It’s super chill and as long as you’re careful, watch your speed and feel confident you’ll pass without a doubt! Good luck! Also, make sure you practice parallel parking, 3 point turns and uphill/downhill parking ☺️

Hi there, I have my test on Thursday and I am so nervous! I did not do drivers Ed I just waited the entire year due to covid. Any tips for me? I am a comfortable driver snd have everything down pat just wondering if there are any tips you would recommend I take into consideration ?
Just drive normally and make sure you don't cross the speed limit and also don't drive too slow. You will be good. Confidence is the key.

@@missya.8268 yes I passed!! Not the same route but it was sooo easy just make sure you can parallel park and the rest is easy.

@@missya.8268 so I pulled out of the parking lot followed there directions and did the speed limit, I did a 3 point turn and parking uphill and parallel parked no emergency stop but it’s best to know how to do everything just incase. Overall really easy and really nice staff.

@@iamgribs Thanks. I didn't realize there's only one in Hawkesbury. I ended up at this location because of back-ups due to Covid. I took a different route as others have said. But knowing what some of rural signs and road markings meant was very helpful. Cheers!

Mariam Abbasi highway is the only one. But there is another route to take the highway. They take the third exit at the roundabout.

Yes they asked for parallel parking. The test is hardly 15 mins. In my case they didn't ask for reverse parking.
