Thank you! Always a delight to see your work, especially the travel journals. I love all the different techniques, learning what you like to remember, and getting to armchair travel with you. I have family in southern Maine, so this hit the spot with me. From Colorado viewer.
I love this, so cute! I'm going to try it, wish me luck, haha! I never knew that you could use a glue stick over the top of the paper to protect it, thanks for the tip!
.Judith, this is great fun! Your videos are well done and easy to re-create the work.
loved your class in crested butte and now i’m home and able to learn some more!
Always inspirational, fun, not complex but dynamic tutorials! Very excited when I see your post as I know I am in for a treat. Thanks again Judith!
Ahhhh….the power of just the SOUND of water moving. Thank you for sharing, Judith! If only this feeling could be bottled…🥰
That is beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing❤
Just gorgeous. I'd love to be sitting there and listening to that for hours and hours.
Astoundingly beautiful Judith!!! I’m so elated that you took the time to share this exquisite moment of nature with us! Thank you!
Thank you! So lovely!
Thanks Judith. Just love your videos!
So excited to find this in my emails from a friend. I can't wait to start a fun journal (just like the ones my friend makes). Thanks so much!!
I loved this inspiration, Judith. I did one with a daffodil (my Mom's birth flower) for a birthday card. She Loved it!
This is *exactly* what I needed ~ I can't thank you enough!!
Thank you Judith! I always enjoy your videos, and am always immediately inspired to try it myself. Thank you for showing us that "lovely" doesn't have to be complicated!
Hi its really nice job,i will be happy if you watch my art channel❤🎉
What great fun! I'll play with the idea, and I think I can utilize some of the method to share with my 4.5 year old granddaughter this week! She loves art too, is quite creative and inventive. Yes! Enjoy spring; signs are beginning here in western Colorado mountains.
I love any technique that can be adjusted for age and experience. Have fun playing with your granddaughter!!
Perfect video for International Women's Day! Adorable.
How fun is this! You make everything so doable,.
this is so cute !!!
Always sharing and always refreshing ideas. You are appreciated
This could not be more adorable!! I love it. Thank you.
I love this approach with the accordian folder. Great short trip idea!
Thanks Judith. Your tips are always so fun to watch and to try out. I will definitely use both the dry brush and like the idea of spraying water to achieve a little texture too.
Such a good demo of this technique. A number of years ago, I saw the Wyeth exhibition. One of the cards said he achieved his dry brush technique by putting the brush in the pigment and then squeezing it between two fingers!
I have tried the pinch technique; its fun but not as effective as the "drag"...let me know what you think!
Love these techniques Judith!
Hello very nice journal. What sketchbook are you using?
Hello. I just found your youtube channel. What are the watercolors you are using? I have not seen a palette like that before and the paints seem very vibrant. Btw I love your style
I create my own palette using tube watercolors (mostly from DaVinci). I fill the little pans and let them dry, then re-activate the color with water before painting. Thanks for your inquiry! I'll make a tutorial showing the process in the next few weeks. The paper you work on will also affect the vibrancy; always use good quality, cotton watercolor paper for best results. Happy painting!
Super cute!! Thx for the good ideas and encouragement. I have a ton of glitter I'm hoping to use for holiday cards if I can figure out how to make sure it won't get all over the place. I sent loose glitter in cards one year by accident not realizing it might be interpreted as a prank lol.. I loved your hand-touch w the paintings-subbed 😀
Hi Judy.....so simple yet so beautiful. Love your work!
Thank you Judith, what a wonderfully relaxing activity, so simply explained, so do-able. You have inspired me.
As always, you are wonderfully creative yet approachable. Such a delight to get up this morning and stumble across this! THANK YOU!
Great video! Thank you for always showing us that creating can be fairly simple and look wonderful. Can't wait to do this!
I was looking for a way to make my Christmas cards this year. So inspiring! Thanks for another great tutorial.
What a wonderful book and experience. ❤ thank you for sharing .
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing. Your journal brings back a lot of fond memories; I’m lucky I got to go with our group.
Love your travel journal!
Loved it. You are a treasure trove of inspiration. Thank you.
Such a delightful journal! I love the way you combined sketching and photos. Seems like a perfect combo! And I need to remember about the "conversation page". Love that idea. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Your journals are so inspiring!
Absolutely beautiful, Judith! You are an amazing artist! Gini
This will come in handy. I'm headed to Madrid and Barcelona tomorrow! I always enjoy your demonstrations. Thanks!
Your sketching always inspires me!
Wonderful - can’t wait to try it, and I already have a sort of “junk” journal, where this would fit perfectly.
You can use a kneaded eraser in a pinch. Not quite as effective as the clay but it works for some things. If you want really great detail but you would have to have taken your leaf’s etc home is Penscore. It is a material you heat up and then press objects into it. Leave for a few seconds then remove. Have the stamp until you reheat. It really works well with fabric. Dharma sells it. So good but you need to have a heat source- so gather the textures.
thanks for the tip! You are correct; traveling with anything that requires heat is a problem, that is why I love the plasticine clay process, but the Penscore has sharper lines and is more reliable.
Thanks, Judith. Really clever and fun! Just had a great time experimenting with my garden flora. This technique has definitely made me notice the amazing textural details. What a perfect idea for capturing special landscapes/hardscapes when traveling too!
This video has given me a great idea for a fun project to do with my teenage grandkids! thank you :)
Thank you. It is always inspiring to see what you do
