Bjorn Strid from Soilwork's classic rock project "Night Flight Orchestra" Song: 1998 I do not own any rights to this song
For some reason, this one track's been removed from spotify. Rest of the album is there, just this one track gone. Lame... and sad.
this reminds me a lot to the modern songs of DOOM 2016 and eternal, simply nice quality
srtidmazing song
I will be back on 27th of march 2021.
I’ve seen Devildriver twice in concert. Now I haven’t heard this song live but I can only imagine 2:50 to be a big circle pit
DEVILDRIVER IS THE FUCKING SHIT
It is bonus track? But it's best song of devildriver
both bonus tracks beat the shit out of the main tracklist
I didn't like much of this record but this song is killer. Shouldn't have been a bonus song imo.
Appetite, Winter Kills , Sail and Back Down to The Grave are all great, listen to the whole album again you will find others
yeahh
\m/
i don't know how many time I've listened to this song but it's a lot.
I love this fuckin band . Everything they do roars like a fuckin lion bout to rip the guts out of a baby gazelle. teach me how to whisper , and digging up the corpses. You do it like everyone wants to . fuck ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A lot of people don't like devildriver..why?..they are fucking great!
that is fucking awsome
fucking greatness
this is their " we really liked catch 22 by meshuggah " song
David Slaughter It's Catch Thirtythree. If you're gonna use a reference at least know what you're talking about. Also DevilDriver has not and does not mention Meshuggah as any form of influence. The closest thing really has been In Flames. And that was only an ex-member. I'd like to know where you're getting your resource from. Or you're just making stuff up.
@@ianryan7548 not quite true actually, Miller repeatedly mentioned Meshuggah as a reference for his own musical style. The intro riff to Dead To Rights was Millers work iirc. Since this is a bonus track its not impossible to think that this song was in the works while Miller was still in the band, but that's up for debate. Either way, the band was aware of Meshuggah and took inspiration from them one way or another, even if it was secondhand through Miller himself.
Great and catchy. Too bad its not on apple music.
stoked as hell,I have my VIP plus meet and greets for Colorado this year, can't wait to start a circle pit
ghost le plagio el logo de la cruz a devil driver solo que este esta invertido
Hell yeah, that's badass!
The one disliker is 6 ft under \m/ \m/
I love the winter kills album my one and only favorite
Love it! \m/
Tiago Neves \m/ \m/
love this, shame it wasn't on the standard album. i suppose it doesn't fit that well with the rest of the album.
you're probably right about that. a whole album doe
\m/
i dedicate this song to all the women i've cared too much for that shit on my heart yes caring's overkill i've killed for you all Thank you Dez and Devildriver for this and lyrics sometimes it takes a fall...well i fell onto my wrist fracturing it last dec after caring too much bout a chick that set me up out of a job so she could continue cheatin on her bf with another employee and got me out of the way and after that i knew exactly where i stood standing up for myself and Not having Anyone walking over me
I shuddered to think i was gonna have to watch a cover every time
Weird
how so?
The rhythm is kinda off at the start, but you can easily get used to it.
+Daymon Klotz why though
Dat sax solo.
he's awesome without high notes
Fair enough, one man's meat etc, but to my rhythmically tested ears it sounds pretty dire. This is what I'm hearing: snare sounds like a badly tuned biscuit tin, unmetronomic, predictable and highly unimaginative cloth eared bashing and if I had to guess I'd say a complete beginner having his first or second lesson...all in all, quite awful. Listen to Simon Phillips, Jorge Michael, or the new guy with Dream Theater.
it sounds like classic rock drumming to me. dont know what youre smoking
and you think that you are more impressive that matt bellamy ?
thanks for the feedback!
Well this is fucking horrible.
You could tell by the band name and album cover what era it invokes.Total 70s classic rock. The name and artwork reminded me of Wings for some reason.Cool tune.
Fair enough...one man's meat etc! In many respects I agree. I don't always want Mike Portnoy, or even Animal from the Muppets (Have a look at his RUclips drum battle with Buddy Rich), however repeated listens of this guy leaves me with the same conclusion. I've heard so many drummers who can lay that foundation much more tastefully and with so much more imagination than this. It's not just the pattern he plays,it's also the hollow sound. Sorry kevronicus we'll agree to differ.
I totally disagree. I think if he played anything more it would take away from the hooks. One of our jobs as drummers is lay a foundation for the music. There is a time to cut loose. This is not one of them. The drumming here is tasteful, perfectly executed, and exactly what the music needs.
i like these demo version better than the real album. hmm
Ruined by the unimaginitive drumming. Monotonous, predictable thumping.
Ruined by the drummer.....monotonous, rudimentary thumper!
Big consent! :)
the guy to the right of Bjorn looks like Ray Ferraro...
So not what I was expecting either, but we can see he has a very good voice though.
Because it's easy drinking music, who doesn't like getting drunk to that old school (sounding music)?
fucking hooked
It's very pleasantly surprising how well Speed's voice is suited to this style!
Oh I was hopeing for an actual orchestra with Speed.
Bjorn and rock music? I never thought .. But what came out of it is just a great project!
38 special reborn..lol clean classic Bjorn, cool shit.
