I am sorry but it is a very bad interpretation of the Elvis song. There is no soul to it, just listen to Elvis and compare. No comparison, although Tom Jones is a great singer.

Such a beautiful version. Tom and Elvis both are unique and one of a kind. So glad they were friends and had a great respect for each other. They’re both 2 of the best singers ever. Amazing power on vocals thats all he has ,he doesnt have the texture or layers in his voice to be different most his songs sound the same , lets hear him sit at the piano unplugged and sing danny boy ,or sit in the round pumping out belters just him on the guitar, you wont beause he cant play a musical instrument good enough to accompany himself
