The voices and the text got messed up.

I was one of those rare women who started going through menopause in my early 30's. It wasn't fun. I met my 2nd husband when I was 40. I worked up until I got hurt and had to have surgery. My husband made me take breaks, helped around the house. We both have disabilities but we work together to get our house clean and he even cooks more than I do now.

This story was all over the place. It started off okay, the timeline seemed organized... but toward the middle and the end it all came unglued and confusing. Is Claire the husband's sister or the wife's sister? The comment about him not considering Claire family came way out of left field. Possible understandable if Claire is the wife's sister, but there is no frame of reference if she's the husband's sister. No compensation for adultery? SINCE WHEN?!? Domestic violence? Where did that come from? There was NO indication in the story of physical abuse... and mental abuse is considered mental abuse, NOT domestic violence. Also, if the apartment and the money belonged to the wife BEFORE the marriage, they would NOT be part of property division, even if the apartment is sold. The wife's prior money would only become divisible assets IF husband and wife had a joint account, and her money from before the marriage was transferred to that account. The ending, and aftermath cut short abruptly, leaving nothing but confusion. So there was a mistress, but mistress didn't know the husband was married. What happened with that? Obviously, the wife divorced her husband but was there a tough court battle? Did the husband get charged with compensation and child support? What about the divorce settlement, what happened with that? There were no explanations to tie up loose ends, which there were PLENTY of. Overall, the beginning of this story seemed to be going okay, but it feels like the writer(s) got lazy and sloppy in the end. Left this reader/listener completely disappointed and dissatisfied.

You have no authority over women. They do not owe you housework, cooking, laundry, errands or sex. If you can’t do housework and cooking then you aren’t a full adult. Sawyer is another husband that would benefit from cast-iron frying pan. I can see it now. Sawyer is right in the middle of a rant about how bad his wife is. When out of nowhere, he's hit with a cast-iron frying pan. When he wakes up in the hospital, wondering how he got there and what happened. The doctor walks in and tells him they had to operate on him to remove a frying pan frome his ass and wire his jaw shut because that same frying pan somehow broke his jaw and wedged itself in his butthole.

Have to admit, after listening to these for a while, this is one of the better written ones! Realistic dialogue and situations.
