Absolutely we can, the people you are referring to, did a lot more than just question. There are some people in this world who hold onto everything and spew it out at everyone trying to gather recruits, and when they don’t get them they go off at everyone around them making those around them not like them either. It was not a nice situation to be in.

@@TheKiwiOdyssey I don't believe it is a scam or at least it didn't start that way. However if the definition is someone selling something that doesn't exist then at the time the vast majority of people purchased, the company press releases said they were going to fully remodel the cabins to a luxury level and included Virtual Windows in inside cabins and there would be a culinary center where residents could cook and a golf simulator. Instead all that was done to the cabins was changing the carpet, new tv and new coffee maker and a deep clean. No culinary center and no golf simulator. So people were sold on critical features that don't exist.

@@RetiredZGrt seems you may have been involved, so then you will also know that everyone has been given the opportunity to leave and get a full refund if they are not happy with the current circumstances. We are fine and things will get sorted as we go along, we are happy with this and are in it for the long haul.

With DNV being so scrupulous with their findings I’m sure all will be well when we are sailing. The prices will go up as soon as we start sailing. The prices have already gone up since we booked. Life is for the living and we are living it. There is nothing gullible about me I assure you.

@Migraham22 VV posted that during the engine load test " it showed a sensor issue between the bridge and ECR, which has then resulted in us needing to re-test the single engine". Now whether or not that is the only thing I couldn't say. An engine load test and correct sensors do seem a wee bit important especially since when they sail they are going straight to the Caribbean during hurricane season in a year predicted to have more, stronger and more quickly strengthening storms than average. The ship isn't in dry dock which it left end of July and went to the ship repair quay so work continued as it was on the water. Now the positive news is that Port of Belfast shows the Sea Trial 2 tomorrow- out at 8am and back at 1pm. Port of Belfast schedule has been changed many numerous number of times and always uber last minute but it seems to be quite scheduled at present.

Oopsie, typed too soon. Middle of the night tonight in Belfast they changed the sea trials. It's now postponed and scheduled for 9/21 out at 8am and returning next day 9/22 at 1pm.

Knowing what I know when I heard this interview I thought- wow! You have been stranded there for months and you spent more money? I guess the 3.5 year voyage is around 160k (that is what my friend paid for her 3.5 year voyage on VVR). So this couple thinks- wow! I can buy this small cramped cabin for 100K instead and have a lifetime of cruises- what a sweet deal! To have bought a cabin on a ship knowing that the ship wasn't even able to sail is idiotic. Sorry.

Other residents have updated their vlogs and said that the sea trials were not a complete success so more work is needed. Ville a vie have now asked the residents to pay for their own hotels until they are ready to set sail. They estimate another 7 days but this has been ongoing so who knows when. As yet the residents have not been asked to pay any of the monthly service charges. This came from RUclipsrs @midlifecruising who are now flying back to the states to wait for the ship to be ready as they said it would be cheaper than staying in Belfast.
