I use the formula and it didn't work when i put FALSE
Try using this method: ruclips.net/video/qLE2kN4pBUM/видео.html It uses a free statistics software called Jamovi that I have started recommending to my students. I don't get any sort of kickback or have any partnership or anything-- it is just a much more user friendly software that has an easier workaround for this specific issue. Hopefully that helps! :)

you're not even using a google form though. If you were, you couldn't insert a column
This is if you have used the setting on Google forms where it automatically exports to a Google sheet. This is then editing/transforming the data in your completed sheet that your form exported to. If you were working a group and the sheet was locked for editing, you might have to make a copy for yourself to be able to edit.
In my classes I attach them to our Canvas pages. Unfortunately, I do not have a way to attach a dataset on youtube for others to download and follow along.
Where would I find the data file for this example?
I was following along with you in the PSPP example and typed in everything that you did and I did not have a chart at all in my output. The only thing that was different was the value labels for the Major... So I am not sure how you got that answer. Thank you!
It would be hard to troubleshoot without seeing a screenshot of your data setup. The only other thing I can recommend is that if you are having a hard time with PSPP, try JAMOVI. Does proofreading this way increase the AI content? Because I dont want to be accused of plagiarism?
Not if you tell it to specifically give you recommendations to improve your writing or content but tell it NOT to rewrite it for you. If it rewrites it for you or does the edits for you and you just copy/paste, that would be plagiarism. But if you have it give you feedback like "This was a run-on sentence" or "This paragraph needs edits to active voice" or "Your conclusion needs to integrate more of your ideas," it isn't inserting any words for you so it should not show up as plagiarism or AI generated content. That is one of the problems with both Grammarly and Quillbot right now (both excellent tools for proofreading), but if you just go through and click to accept all of the suggestions, it WILL flag the plagiarism checkers and AI checkers.

I just thought of this with your video, if you have your students submit a draft before and after they had the help of the AI you might be able to see how they were able to utilize the tool better.

Do you prefer JAMOVI over JASP?
I honestly haven't used JASP much. With more and more students using Chromebooks, I started looking for options that had the best Cloud interface, as the Roll-App workaround for PSPP can be kind of buggy. My top preference is SPSS, but that is just because that is what I trained on and used for several years. However, it is often cost-prohibitive for students.

I'm having a problem where I have a variable that is already numbers, but for some reason it's classed as ordinal in jamovi. When I try and run certain analyses it tells me to change it to numeric data using "as.numeric" but I can't figure out how to do this...do you have any suggestions?

Thanks, I have a problem : jamovi says that "circular reference is detected" when I try to transform my nominal variables... How can I do to fix that ?
I have never seen that error message before- I have no idea! If I can find a way to replicate that, I will do a how-to video on how to fix it. I'll add it to my list! :)
After hours of searching, I found, you just have to change the name of the variable which must be transformed
I have another question: when I finished transforming my variables, one duplicated itself and made the other disappear. How to find the original variables without losing all the coding?

She's carrying on about dark triad traits like it's not the most central trait to corporate culture! LOL! It's almost impossible even find an entry level job where you're not being interviewed by a dark triad. Most every job culture out there requires, in between the line, that you don't disturb the dark triad ecosystem. And when it comes to all H.R. and offices of grievance just forget about it, it's just 100% club evil wielding the system backwards to the spirit of the law via the selective letters of the law! "Oh, you're a dark triad? Great! You're upper management, all the way!" LOL! See you on the other side; this planet is a haven of corruption and evils! 💙
If I were to get on my soapbox about corporate America, many of these would triple in length! :) I agree with you that many traits that in social settings/friendships/family dynamics are viewed as problematic get shifted into a more positive connotation in the workforce ("ambitious," "take-charge," "no-nonsense," etc)

Dr J, I came across this video as I am searching the web for understanding to help my fearful dog as much as possible. I know this wasn't directly uploaded for dog sciences but please let me know if I am making the correct connections here. On a walk. Neutral Stimulu = The environment / Unconditioned Stimulus = People walking towards us / CS = Fear & Avoidance Thank you for your time.
Not quite. Fear & avoidance is a response. Being afraid of someone walking near would be a conditioned stimulus. However, classical conditioning does not ALWAYS apply. It would be hard to discern if there was ever something that had happened (unconditioned stimulus) that was paired with seeing other people on a walk (neutral -> conditioned stimulus).
