Can you explain what it means if we see a high resistance waveform in the renal artery please. And explain what intrinsic renal disease is. I appreciate all your videos, they’re so helpful!
High resistance waveforms are seen within the kidney when the glomerular/tubules in the kidneys are damaged due to diabetes, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or any diseases affecting the kidneys, not the vessels. These patients do NOT have renal stenosis, matter of fact renal velocities are within the normal range however, RI's are elevated.

What about the peroneal veins? Also the gastrocnemius veins? I know Park Nicollet , MN show's the gastroc veins routinely.
Hello, I had an UltraSound imaging and my doctor told me everything is alright , I feel the left side of my carotide weird sometimes, should I do MRI also ?
