I used to breed snakes - that is a Red Tailed Boa. It could be true Boa constrictor constrictor which is the true red tail boa, with a really bright red tail, but with the saddling pattern and black line on the face and its size, it could also be one of the drab cousins, with more Colombian locality blood. How lovely to encounter one ❤

The video is a mix of a few days retreat with the Yawanawa medicine woman 'Waxe' from the North of Brazil amazonian region. The ceremony is using Ayahuasca yes, although the preparation you saw is that of making the hape (ŕape) that is used along with Ayahuasca at these ceremonies led by the Yawanawa. If you are interested in any more info I can help you after seeing your videos of using hape because I spent ten years studying this, Breatharianism, sun gazing, and plant medicines 💊
@@dannypayne wow, that is incredible. I just started my journey 2.5 years ago, but I am so open to hearing perspectives and learning from others who sit with these medicines. I was shown and sat with these medicines with someone who did not do the proper work before being in a position where they could serve, so my experience is extremely limited and whitewashed, unfortunately. My partners family is from Chile, so I'm hoping one day to be able to go down to the Amazon to sit with all of these medicines properly, and in a safe environment. I love the vibes of everyone in the video <3 looks like such a lovely experience to have been part of
@Amber.Catalyst oh right yeah cool, it's amazing to spend time with these people, and I've some amazing stories to tell from over the years. The last time for example was where I drove 7 days from Sao Paulo with my dog to the amazon on the Peru border to go up river 3 days on a little boat with a family native indigenous from the forest there that said further up into the jungle was dangerous. Every full moon they'd have maryjuana parties, young and old smoking and dancing, then there's the ayahuasca ceremony too. Pretty much full on really
