Running the Sitecore Layout Service on ASP.NET Core
This video demonstrates an experimental approach to running Sitecore’s Layout Service on ASP.NET Core. By moving logic from Custom Content Resolvers in .NET Framework, this project explores how to manage GraphQL API requests, inject dynamic data like real-time weather, and optimize performance with caching. In addition to editing existing fields, you can dynamically add new fields as well. This approach offers new flexibility but also introduces architectural considerations.

Hi Jeroen Breuer , I wonder if the function OnRedirectToIdentityProviderForSignOut could work with Backoffice user's Logout event. I tested many case and it still can not redirect to my Identity Server . I am using Umbraco V10.1.0 .
I had the same problem. There are 3 things that I needed to fix: 1: I had to trigger the correct SignOutAsync schema ("UmbracoMembers.OpenIdConnect"). That triggered the OnRedirectToIdentityProviderForSignOut event. github.com/jbreuer/Umbraco-OpenIdConnect-Example/blob/main/Umbraco-OpenIdConnect-Example.Core/Controllers/ExternalLogoutController.cs#L48 2: Set the IdTokenHint. Otherwise the external login provider won't redirect back to the Umbraco website after logout: github.com/jbreuer/Umbraco-OpenIdConnect-Example/blob/main/Umbraco-OpenIdConnect-Example.Core/Extensions/UmbracoBuilderExtensions.cs#L101 3: Make sure that you return an empty result. Otherwise the previously set redirect (location header) is overridden. github.com/jbreuer/Umbraco-OpenIdConnect-Example/blob/main/Umbraco-OpenIdConnect-Example.Core/Controllers/ExternalLogoutController.cs#L57 It's better to upgrade to Umbraco 10.2. It has many fixes for OpenId Connect.
