Rush Slip Ons 1.75" vs. 2.00" Baffle Comparison on a 2017 Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob. Only other performance modification to the bike is a stage one Screamin' Eagle air cleaner.
Wow I love that bike man. Honestly exactly what I am looking for.
i had the RUSH 1.75" slip ons on a 2016 103" softail, absolutely loved them!
I'm torn between this and the v&h upswept. I think v&h makes a fantastic sounding exhaust, and it looks great too, and high rise. But the price, hard to find under $1200 anymore. Yet i can get a stainless tbr comp for like $780
1.75 sounds better
Hey buddy I know it gets old with the same questions. However I would greatly appreciate your advice. I’m 5’4 and I was wondering do you think the lucky 13s in 11in would be shoulder height ? Looking to ride long distance with comfort and sometimes aggressive. Or do you believe at 5’4 some one can get away with the 13in with a saddlemen step up pushin them fwd. As well as the bend assisting with reach ? Thank you again and safe travels.
Hey! oh man that's tough to say... at 5'11", my 14" bars were basically shoulder height, and I would say my torso is long relative to my legs. I would think the 11" bars would be around shoulder height for you. The 11" bars would also be better for you in regards to comfort AND control (in my opinion). If I could do it again, I would go with some shorter bars, and bars with some pull-back (like with the Lucky 13s).
Hey man I’m running the lucky Dave’s luckys 13 I’m the same height as you I was curious your thoughts on the San Diego bars at 14 I’m loving the lucky 13 with the pull back but was curious if the straight 14 inch would feel do you find your hands going numbs with the higher straight 14s???
Legend suspension revos on my 2010 changed the ride completely. The wife likes it a lot better and the handling is far better than it was.
I now have 13" Revos on the back and the Legend Cartridge Kit on the front. Highly recommend the Revos to everyone. Cartridge kit on the other hand.... I would only really recommend it to those that ride aggressively.
What brand, height, width is that bar?
They are 14" Lucky Dave's San Diego bars. Sorry I do not remember the width.
These pipes are super thin (light weight), when they get hot, they definitely can glow and change color.
Good point this is true. Discoloration hasn't been bad in the 3-4 years I've had them, but they can get extremely hot.
What bars are those I need a set
Lucky Dave's San Diego Bars 14"
I'm also 5'11'' with long torso. I've been wondering how the wind buffeting is at highway speeds with a 13 inch shield.
Hey. There is no buffeting for me at all.
Thats exactly why we need tariffs. Other countries fk us we gotta fk them.
What sort of front pegs have you got? They look like what I need.
Well my pegs are stock pegs, but i assume you're talking about my crash bar? If so, it was made by a local guy that goes by freedumbfab (something like that) on IG. It is similar style to a bung king crash bar which is more widely available.
Could you please describe how it feels, it’s like to ride the twin-cam dyna? May the same feeling of M8?
I've never ridden an M8 so its hard to compare. From what i've heard, the twin-cam shakes a lot more than the M8. I do not find the shaking from the twin-cam to be unbearable at all though.
What happened man, this was your last video. I’m thinking about getting a TBR 2 into 1 but I’m looking at the Turnout in black. A lot of people have the comp s with a Saddlemen Step up and I think I’m going to go with the Turnout with my Whiplash Speed Co seat, just switching it up from the normal. I’m also not doing the club style, I love ape hangers and that look so that’s what I’m going with. But, great video! I was hoping you had more recent videos but it seems this was your last one. Hope all is well
The turnout is a sweet pipe. Apes are cool. Make the bike yours! All is well. Thanks for asking. I just find it weird talking to myself as I ride. Even weirder listening to myself talking as I edit the video haha. I'll likely make some more videos next spring as I have done a few more upgrades since making this video.
@@dynadian118 ya, I can see how that could be weird. I made my first video about a week ago and just uploaded it without any editing, but I did watch it back and listening to myself was weird. I guess you just have to get over that and try to understand that other people don’t know what you sound like so it sounds normal to them. I think I will be making another video showing what I’ve done when I get my bike fixed up from it being backed into in a parking lot and I think I’m going to try to do a Stage 2 on my 2020 Street Bob. Anyways, I’d be down to see what you’ve done to your bike since your last video.
What highway pegs are those? I've never seen any like that
I think I HEARD you Race past my house Sir.! That is why I featured your Username in my latest video. (smiles)
I don't live near you so I doubt it was me but I appreciate it!
I was only JOKING Sir. May I ask what City do you live & Ride in.? I'm really glad your Channel is still Active bcz I just featured your Username in my latest MotoVid. (smiles)
@@AngelFaceMotoRider Vancouver, BC!
I just put these pipes on my 2016 street bob and tuned with a VH FP3... I'm noticing a lot of heat emanating from the collector and burning my right calf when stopped at a light. Are you getting a lot of heat on your right leg from this pipe?
After a couple years of running this pipe, I now have a hole in my kevlar pants from the heat; so yes, it does get hot lol
I think you made my decision to get one for my FXDLS 2017
So the lower the number of the baffle is quieter or louder
the bigger the number, the deeper the tone of the exhaust (and maybe a little bit louder).
Dynadian thanks for the info
Dynadian thanks will check it out
Just put this pipe and video does not do it justice
yup
what size are they 2inch?
I don't know what you're asking about! Bars are 14", fairing windshield is 13".
Getting lots of back pressure pops with short pipe?
It pops a lot on low/mid-rpm decel as well as the occasional pop when shifting under 3k rpm; but since i've made this video, I've heard several times that i just need a different tuner as others with aftermarket tuners (instead of the Harley tuner I use) got rid of the popping for them.
@@dynadian118 I've been researching fuel treatment an octane boosters. Found today's fuels crap to yrs past! I carry Coleman stove fuel bottle for octane boost! Add at fuel stop depending on current performance! If I think fuel too hot I add more straight fuel, want more from fuel an motor add more octane boost! Experiment an you'll learn your motor an realize modern fuels crap an engines turned for crap! (I found my octane booster at dollar store)
Also, when octane bottle says increase one octane, that does not mean 89 to 90 octane! Octane is measured in "tenths"! So when bottle says increase one octane, that means, "89.1". So, you need ten times more than you think to get to 90 octane! You know then your motor is maxed out on octane boost with downhill deceleration an popping flames!
@@timbarnett3898 good to know, thanks!
Hi from the Okanagan. Beautiful ride!
Hey! Thanks.
Yeah I removed all the reflectors from my 2016 dyna low rider S the day I got it home a few weeks ago. Looks so much better and with full LEDs all around, they weren't doing much anyway
What are those crash bars?
Look up "freedumbfab" on instagram.
They both sound good, but I'm thinking the 1.75 were a little throat- ear
Videos hilarious
What about the road rage 3?
I wanted a black exhaust and the road rage 3 does not come in black. The road rage 3's performance and sound is apparently very similar to the road rage 2.
What size windshield and bars?
13" windshield 14" bars
Sounds good, man
Does it drone on the highway?
No it does not.
Mary hill bypass 🤘🏻
Clean bike!
Nice to see the view on some familiar roads
Sounds like a sewing machine when idling
not sure i agree but alright
Two brothers or fab28?
Wow just saw this comment.... My bad! Fab28 seems to be the "cool" exhaust with the "clubstyle" dyna guys these days. Haven't actually heard one in person as they are very expensive to get to Canada so not many people run them here.
Fab 28 for the winn. I have it and love it!
Take those reflectors off!!! Use a hairdryer it works good. Your load enough and plenty of lights for people to see you.
Shawn Cox - first thing I did when I bought my bike! 💯💯💯🤣🤣🤣
what size are you bars??and how tall are u
14" bars and 5' 11"
Thanks for the great video. I was debating between the 1.75 vs 2.0. I think I know what i need on my 2013 Deluxe.
Did you need new cables for the bars??
Throttle cables yes. Probably could have done with stock cables but they'd be stretched. Super easy to replace throttle cables.
What kind of windshield do you have? And what’s the height of that t bars? Respond would be appreciate it brother ride safe
sorry for the SUPER late reply.... 14" Lucky Dave's San diego bars & memphis shades road warrior fairing.
Damn cool a local, what tuner do you have, the black one or the orange one. I need to find you on instagram, get you hooked up to the Canadian Motovlog chat, and the Canadian Motovlogger met up in July. New sub bro #support, lets get you some subs
Dude... R u Armenian
Noooo
Like your bars man, whats the make/model?
Hey! Lucky Dave's 14" San Diego bars
@@dynadian118 thank you!
With your tuner should you be having decel pop? Or would a professional tune get rid of it?
I believe with the Harley Pro Street Tuner, there is no real way to get rid of decel pop. The tuner really limits you on what you can change. The changes you can make are within the EPA emissions standards. I believe you'd have to increase the fuel in the air to fuel ratio to get rid of the decel pop. You cannot increase the fuel levels enough to fix the issue with their tuner. I actually saw a sign in my local dealership last month which said in bold letters "deceleration popping is completely normal with aftermarket exhausts"... I'm pretty sure that's their way of telling us that they can't fix the issue with the standards they have to abide by. Honestly though, since I've made this video, I've learned to significantly decrease the decel popping with a little throttle control.
@@dynadian118 I have a DynoJet tuner, and have had my Dyna properly professionally dyno tuned, and my 2-1 still pops and crackles like crazy...it's a Harley thing...and it's awesome :)
@@johanslammeat3499 Oh wow. Well that's good to know!
I had my 2018 fxlr professionally dyno tuned stage 1 with 2-1 tbr comp s exhaust and I don’t have any decel popping what so ever. I might hear it very little when I first fill up my tank but that’s the only time I’ve noticed it so it’s not a “Harley thing” it’s a getting it properly tuned with the right maps thing.
@@tylerthompson9012 Exactly right!! Well said.
What sissy bar do you have and is it detachable? I'm looking for a quick detach sissybar for my street bob that doesn't require you to move the rear turn signals, so far haven't really found many...
Hey. It's a Harley product. It is a quick detach. I can't remember if I needed to buy some adapter pieces... but if I did, they would have also been a HD product.
How is the sound level when riding down the highway for both you and passenger?. I like the two brothers, but I'm worried about that dreaded drone you get with certain exhaust
No drone. Once of the main reasons I got this exhaust.
Hey man great info. How do the bars feel at 14” I’m 6”1 and looking at those but don’t want my hand reaching above my shoulders
I'm 5'7 and have 14" T bars. Exactly at my shoulders.
I'm 6'3 140lbs, riding a 2016 dyna low rider S with saddlemen step up, I have 13in T bars and they're a few inches below my shoulders, very comfortable
What sized handlebars do you have?
14"
I’m 6”1 and can’t decide on 12” or 14” I don’t want to be reaching up. You’re hands look parallel with your shoulders how tall are you?
@@aaronduthoit1278 I'm 5'11". I find the 14s perfect for me. They are still below the shoulders.
Great info thanks a lot bro!
