I would have preferred you not film this and make the experience more calm and less traumatic for that poor mother. Your voice, the way you bang the cage around and then obviously that choke hold could not have been more rough and traumatic. I'm sure listening to your human voice and being tossed around in a cage made her more fearful and aggressive. There is a better way to do this. I hope you know better by now.

Such a beauty! Once, when my house was having some tile work done, my cat got inside the wall and then between our main floor and second floor. Thankfully she found her own way back out! Cats can't help but explore.

Hey man I can give you some good advise on "hydrating" without depending totally on the expertise of a wildlife expert. What you do is give them a bowl of water (& some food) - when she's finished the first bowl of water top it up immediately... This is the best way to traet an animal in urgent need of hydration!

Mine doesn’t have a cap and never have rodents. Also his “fishing” pole was way shorter than a chimney, so I’d say the owl was not in the “actual fireplace”.🐾

Pretty interesting video and smooth operation but don't chimneys typically have a cap or a spark arrestor on top? What keeps rodents out? If the owl was that far down, was it in the actual fireplace? Sorry for all the questions bur inquiring minds want to know. ☺️
