my Dad farmed 400 acres NW Manitoba(40'S to70'S); started with cockshut30, then the 550; all implements were on a 3 PT hitch; 3 furrow plow; 10ft deep shank tiller; 9ft disc; with all that wt on the rear, steering was always like power'☺@@studio3066

Every time I have loaned out anything to friends or even family members, either it comes back damaged, broken and never get an offer to fix or replace it. Or I never see it again. I have stopped helping others this way a long time ago. There's just way too many people that are so inconsiderate and very ungrateful.

@@gregorsamsa1364 Not really, but they may as well be. I no longer communicate with any of them, it's been over 20 years and still don't loan out anything. My trust in humanity has been gone for years because society is circling the drain to hell.
I 100% agree with the "Leave it better than you found it." sentiment, but I personally wouldn't want WD40 smeared all over my case. If it's plastic, just use isopropyl alcohol and it'll leave no residue. If there are stickers/paint, use a cloth damp with water. That's all you'll ever need 99% of the time.

303 aerospace potectant is the boss of protection. Its cheap, best uv protector, no oil residue and gives a nice clean sheen while not being overly glossy. I use it on all my restorations that have plastic or rubber as well as all my tools and cases.

Great video of a beautiful bird.After living on a farm in Arkansas 4 the past 5 yrs,i saw my 1st pr about a month ago and now see it occasionally.I have been hearing them all this time thinking they were red-bellied.Big as the pileated is,it sure can hide well.

Hey…thx for the comment. Yes, I like the saw. It’s been a solid machine. Bought new approx. 6 years. My only issue was when I was cutting in deep powder snow, I had to install a cover over the pull cord casing (this cover was included with the saw) it helped with start up…only because I was setting the saw down in the deep snow, and snow was getting into the vents by the pull cord. Hope that was helpful….have a good one!
