Newly Discovered Chopin Waltz (2024)
Просмотров 9873 месяца назад
Ever since I got to know that a new Chopin piece has been discovered this week, I've been meaning to record it. I've made some small tweaks to the ornamentation which imo suit the piece better. Otherwise, the piece felt too unfinished in its current form.

Beautiful
Thats beautiful.
@@KelvinDominick-p9m Thank you!
Thats beautiful how long uave you been playing.
Sounds great and it looks like you had fun playing this!
@@rogerch-piano Thank you!
what keyboard do you have, im looking into getting one
You play Bach better than Pirates of the Carribbean xd
Lol, very true.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
THIS IS AMAZING ❤
@Kardezedit Thanks for listening!
@ you welcome
Did you enjoy the Pathetique and have you played the other movements? I played this for the ATCL.
@@alex-plays8407 Yes, I have played the other movements.
Well done. What a lovely piece. Where did you record this, and how did you like the Schimmel?
Fantastic!
@@rogerch-piano Thank you so much for listening! :)
you have to practice more and working hard
Just take your time, practice makes it perfect. Slow pace, master it, and then speed it up. U got problem with chords and finger positioning, u play nicely fast parts with right hand and they sound magical :)!
Wow that is amazing
The main melody of pirates is great. Unfortunately - due to no fault of you or your own, the scales and arpegg exercises really spoils it on piano. It just doesn't sound right or good. And that's the fault of the arranger - the person that wrote the arrangement. I personally would ditch the fast finger scales and arpegg exercises - which would do the theme a big favour.
How old were you when you started learning the piano?
@@katttttt I started taking lessons towards the end of college. Before that, I was self-taught for a few years.
@@blizzardpiano so you were in your late teenage years? I know that this question is kinda irrelevant and has nothing to do with other people's playing, but it's still cool to see somebody who started later in life playing such a piece
지려.
where can i find the score? id love to play it myself as well

Good job!
Mazeppa, Feux Follet, Wilde Jagd or last one, #12, don't remember correctly.
@@kno6ndg7 Chasse Neige! Definitely on my lis(z)t someday!
Very good job!!
very impressive. This piece is incredibly difficult, WELL DONE!
@@sheeperman_ Thank you very much!
@@blizzardpiano I am also currently learning it. how long did it take you to learn?
@@sheeperman_ It took me around six months. Best of luck!
Impressive! Great job!
Wow, what an improvement from your first video of this
Incredible attempt, just a bit of polishing to do now
i can easily imagine that this is Beethoven improvising on the Pathatique themes which he very likely did.
Amazing🎉🎶🌹👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Very nice!
Where is this from?
@@AllJackNoTrades It was a theme I remembered from a few years ago. Took me some time to find it, here you go. TES Skyrim Soundtrack: From Past to Present m.ruclips.net/video/s5sTI_zBg40/видео.html&pp=ygUbc2t5cmltIGZyb20gcGFzdCB0byBwcmVzZW50
Main section is Chopin at his best. The intro, though...I understand why he must have hid that score in some drawer and didn't have it published😂
To the contrary, I think the intro is more innovative. The main section is a bit more "standard Chopin fare". But he really didn't get both parts to blend together well imo, and the contrast sounds jarring and not very polished.
You played that beautifully.
Great emotion you put into the piece!
@@tbass3567 Thank you so much!
Nahhh
@@AllJackNoTrades Lol
What's the name of the piece?
I forgot to say this but First
It is a new unnamed Chopin Waltz. www.nytimes.com/2024/10/27/arts/music/chopin-waltz-discovery.html
