How i get my 2fa code. I dont want lose my contacts and chats on Telegram
to get your 2FA code, make sure you have access to the phone number you used for your Telegram account. Open Telegram, go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Two-Step Verification to set it up if you haven't yet. If you’ve already set it up and need to recover it, use the password recovery option via email. Don’t forget to back up your chats and contacts in case anything goes wrong
How do I receive a Telegram SMS code while the Telegram app keeps sending it to my other device? I have no access to my other device, and don't know what to do to let Telegram send SMS code to me to login
First, ensure you're entering the correct phone number for the account you're trying to access. If you're not receiving the SMS code, try switching your device to airplane mode for a minute and then back on. Also, check your carrier's settings or try using a different SIM card if you have one. Replace your SIM card and re login The only way telegram will be sure the account belongs to you.
The other thing is I am not sure if you lost only the SIM card or even the entire phone. In such cases if you just lose the SIM card and you aren't able to replace it just get another number and head over to settings if at all you are still logged in and change number before you lose the account.
