We’d love that! That was honestly our goal! But funding is the main issue. We sadly don’t fit into the PureFlix box so it’s very hard to find support unfortunately. But fingers crossed that God will allow us to make more! :)

@1988Films Aww, I'm sorry to hear that! ❤️ I get that it's frustrating to want to make art but not be given a chance because you don't fit into the generic Christian mold. And even though I like almost everything from The Erwin Brothers and, so far, from Angel Studios, I have a sinking feeling that we may just be getting movies that won't really push past the "R" rating. They'll be great, but I do think it will still have issues as far as style and themes that push the church out of its comfort zone. I'm an aspiring Christian author, I do believe I may get some hesitation of some Christian books to get published, like wanting to include LGBTQ characters, ect, and, oh boy, you can see where this is going! Well, I pray and hope you guys get the necessary funding to make creative things. Btw, maybe God will use a secular studio to get you guys the funding you need! You can see it ad this: witnessing and entertaining the secular audience. Technically, with Christian films like Robert Eggers' The Witch, the original Wicker Man, Robert Duval's The Apostle, ect, the Secular audience WILL watch Christian movies as long as they're good. So you may have to be like Paul when those Jews wouldn't listen to him about the gospel: write Christian movies for a secular audience and witness and entertain them instead. Whew! Forgive me for the loooooong post. I just don't want creativity snuffed out because of this bs some of us Christian is believe that Christian movies can't be creative and break grounds. I'll just say one more thing: If I have to fund it myself, I'd want someone to do a Biblical epic loosely based on the account when Jesus casted those legion of demons from that guy, but its inspiration comes from The Exorcist. How cool would that be? A Biblical horror movie? Yes, fingers crossed and steepled (🙏) for you guys to get the necessary funding!

I would suggest any filmmaker try it even if it’s just a short. You learn so much about storytelling just jumping in and having to build it. It’s a great exercise! :)

@@joshallanfilmandmusic that could be said about a lot of Christian movies because most of them are dramas, biopics, and comedies. I really hope we get more genres out there with a Christian theme.

I've heard it said that our beliefs are like a house we build over time and every once and awhile you have to burn the house down and see what stands! Think that's healthy for everyone to do a different points in their lives. :)

Her name is Linnea Lebreton, she allowed us to use a few of her songs in the film. I don't think they've been released yet. I'll do lyric videos for them so you can listen to the full thing, unfortunately I don't have the rights to send you the song though.. :/
