With the light of a million stars... In this track, the Edge is setup with its internal sequencer disabled and sequenced with Stepic. I really like this, very nice session, what is Stepic sequencing? and only the B26000 is clocking the Edge, that's it, everything else is on its own sync?
Cheers - I would need to go back and look at the session but master clock is Live. LFO is from B2600 and this is midi clocked from live. Edge is USB synced so I bypass its sequencer, Stepic is most likely on B2600, Edge, Crave, one of the Hydrasynths and Harmony Bloom on K2.

Love this, I find Hydrasynth nicely compliments modular. I have the Explorer in my set up and I love great, warm pads it can produce. Subbed.
Cheers for the sub. That’s quite true, the Hydra is so easy to integrate with modular and CV inputs on other synths. The high degree of control is very nice. I also think the Hydrasynth sounds are really complimentary to analog synths.

Would love to but at this stage, barely have enough time to create a track and release a video. I don't think anyone needs to justify how many synths we own, the more the better. I started with the desktop, loved it and then bought the Deluxe (because it's a truly wonderful thing). I was then in the market for a new small midi keyboard, the price of the Hydrasynth Explorer was the same as a controller, no brainer. So I ended up with 3 Hydrasynths...The advantages are: Learn one synth and you know them all, patches can be transferred from synth to synth. I loathe troubleshooting, reading manuals when I could be making music. The Hydra's all sound incredible and their sound palette is virtually endless, they are also the most user friendly and expressive synth/s I have ever owned, everything just works.

Cool piece. 3 Hydrasynths. I mean it's a great/versatile synth, but I only have the desktop version in my rig, so I'm not sure if I'm jealous or thinking I made the right choice going with more diversity. Of course what you're doing here is totally different than what I do, so the gear decisions are going to be different.
Cheers - People understandably focus on the Hydrasynths and I love them for their sound, versatility and expressiveness. I do have a bunch of analog synths playing on all the tracks too. Obviously the B2600 is one of them, my main choice for sticking with Hydra is that once you learn one, you know them all and you have the ability to swap patches between synths. If I have to fight with gear and look at a manual its a real buzz kill.

This was my "Risky Business" soundtrack today. It's when the track played on a loop while I was concocting the best build for a portable sample sounds recording rig. It's amazing how many times the execution of an idea comes to a halt because the bolt one has is either too short, or too long, or the hole is in the wrong place, and/or also at the wrong angle, and quite frankly what's needed is another angle bar with more threaded holes, and more thru bolts, and a ball head, and cold shoe mounts... Yeah, that's it. That's what I need. 👍 ....Yes, I know "I could have just gone out and record some sounds"... but, y'know, it wouldn't be proper with out the rig. Plus would miss out on the soundtrack! 😄
A quick trip to Bunnings might seem like the solution, until you realise they don't carry the exact size or type of bolt you need. Now, you're off to hunt down a specialist supplier-if you can find one. Otherwise, it’s time to order online and accept that the project will be delayed. But despite the setbacks, building something tangible for sound collection creates a meaningful connection between the physical world and the intangible realm of sound. It’s well worth the effort.
