I have backslid and I’m overwhelmed with guilt and regret. I have let ego and pride spearhead my thoughts toward what God has done and is in this short life. I have been angry, sad, confused and have been battling with negative thoughts, doubt, fear especially.. I haveNot out my trust and faith completely in God. I’m ashamed. I know God is good. I know God sees all and in this life, in this world it is so easy to get impatient, boastful when things aren’t going our way. But when evaluating my thoughts, my efforts.. the battle in my mind for control, for feeling like I don’t have what I want or when things aren’t where I want them to be.. I need to see what it is I’m doing this is t aligned with God. I place utmost importance on kindness, manners, fairness.. but in the midst of struggles I let my negative thoughts rule my mind that should be rooted in trust and alignment with what I feel God wants. What is right, good and loving.. It’s true the spirits willing but the flesh is weak. This is just one of my battles.. I pray God can forgive me. I acknowledge my defiance, my pride and boastful temper and I am sad. Sad because I know God.. but I dont keep close, by reading the gospel by understanding and what it is that we humans face in this world today and holding onto Faith and Trust. TRUST! I have a problem with trust because I fear God doesn’t see me. I pray God can forgive me and see my struggle and my desire to navigate through these trials with strength and trust in God. Stay close to me Lord Please. I’m not giving up because I want to know God. Know what a relationship with Jesus is.. I hear it and don’t know much. help me understand more Lord. please. Keep my loved ones close. I love them all very much and you blessed me with all of them. I will keep fighting to be who I’m supposed to be. Be who I’m supposed to be for them. Lord, please help me with my trials with other people. When tempers flare and people including myself become unruly and stubborn, arrogant.. Stay with me because I can’t turn away from you no matter how I kick and scream. I get weak sometimes, that’s when I need strength.. I’ll keep looking toward you
