I started WoT in 2020 and just finished The Gathering Storm. I was looking forward to your review vid for this one the last 100 or so pages and it’s so hard not to click and remember the earlier bits for fear of spoilers. The pacing def picked up the last 200 pages or so and I’m so amped to have only two books left in the series. Thank you so much for these vids. You’re the best.

Very small correction. The Red Hand do not use Aludra’s dragons in the fight against the renegade seanchan army. They use a smaller version of the idea - small explosive balls shot out of metal tubes with varying fuse lengths and metal balls stuck to the sides that function as shrapnel. Aludra is unable to make the full sized canon as of right now due to lack of material, which is why she is interested in working with Rand.

I thought this was the biggest slog book out of all of them. Boy Egwene does some incredibly stupid things.

Finally started the books🤩👍 I initially bought the entire series 3 years again but was too busy to read em. Now, I have finished Eye of the World and am starting The Great Hunt. The story is so damn good. World building and characters are fantastic and the use of gender issues, politics and other themes are just well done.

This video was really well done I just finished a reread / listen to the book on Audible the only complaint or critique I have is that at 5:11 you said Matt spots Bayle Doman, however he does not. Mat is too busy hiding the Aes Sedai with fake kisses, we only learn later that Bayle recognized Mat, Mat himself did not realize Bayle was there at all, and doesn't even recognize Bayle at first later when until Bayle comes to seek Mat out to help Egeanin.

Haven't yet read the book, but it does sound interesting. The happenings between Moraine and Siuan aren't quite what was portrayed in the TV series, but still very interesting. Thank you for this synopsis

I hate$the withe cloaks and usually skip the withe cloak chapters in my re reads. Especially because they remind me so much of the suffering the Catholic church and different monk societies over the ages caused around the world to this day. Zhey really piss me off.
