justme man I mean, look at your profile picture! How dare you, judging the kind of humor displayed in "Hot Rod" or the movie itself? Just because you don't like it doesn't mean that the movie is "horrible". It seems that your sense of humor is just horrible.

justme man you're brilliant! 1. There is no such thing as a "subjective word" you can use a word for a subjective statement as in "I think this movie is horrible". I said that "it seems like your taste in movies is horrible" which is an subjective statement. You said "the movie is horrible", that is absolutely not a subjective statement. So I am not a hypocrite (i like the word aswell, but you shouldn't use it just for the sake of using it, that doesn't make you look smart even when the word sounds smart), you're just not the sharpest knife in the drawer. 2. You don't know shit about cultmovies and their definition. I wrote a paper about cult movies, called "the revenge motif in movies as a catalyser for cultfactor". The movies you describe as "cult classics" are by now pseudo cult movies because everybody knows them. They are mainstream as fuck! They're pretty much the mainstream of cinematic cult. Hot Rod on the other hand is the definition of a cult movie, because it classifies (by now more than pulp fiction or big lebowski) as one. If you're interested in the topic I'd recommend you articles by Rainer Winter. That's pretty much state of the art in scientific research of popcultural cult. I'm not in the mood right now to explain to you what the atributes are that classify a cult movie. I'll tell you so much, it's not the movie itself that defines it as cult movie, the people or better the cultists define what's a cult movie and what is not. The fact that some people integrated terms like "Douglas Bubbletrousers" in their every day vocabulary, proves 100% that hot rod is a cult movie. (Google it if you want) It seems like you've only seen the "cool beans" bit of the movie. I didn't like that part either, because it is really stupid. Other people might think, that this part is awesome. The thing is, that there are different kinds of humor, and I'm pretty sure you can't make a movie everybody can laugh about. Sure, Hot Rod's humor is stupid at some point (and so is the humor of monty Python movies), but some bits (probably the best ones) you won't get when you're stupid. And yes, sorry for my illiterate english. Im not a native speaker, that's probably why my english isn't perfect. But I guess that's okay when you understand 9 languages (if you count latin and programming languages) and speak 4 of them fluently. Especially when you've got in mind that the average person with english as motherlanguage speaks only one language. It's funny, you are the first person ever complaining about my english. Usually people compliment my english, there are even some native speakers (with college degree) who asked me about technical terms they didn't know as a native speaker. But you are right, my english could be a lot better. And yes. Napoleon Dynamite. I liked the movie, I thought it wasn't as good as Hot Rod, but it was still a funny movie. I just think you can't compare it to Hot Rod, because the only thing those two movies have in common is their genre. Okay, both protagonists, are somehow idiots, but you like them as viewer (at least it is intended by the moviemakers that you like them) but that is it. I think the kind of humor is different, the story is different, the protagonists are different, pretty much everything is different. That's why I wouldn't compare them, but as I stated, you don't seem to be the brightest candle on the cake plus you're not the biggest cineaste out there you're probably more of the opposite of a cineaste, so that's cool! Compare the shit outa Napoleon Dynamite and Hot Rod. You just making yourself look stupid. If I were you I'd keep it shut, it can only get worse.

There are only subjektive or objektive statements. Yours was an subjektive statement, but you wrote it as an objective statement, which it isn't. Anyway, your stupidity amazes me. I mean, you want to rate the quality of a film by the number of reviews on "rotten tomatoes"! Next thing is that you are saying that I said, Napoleon Dynamite is a bad movie! To be honest, I didn't reread my comments. If I had an actual argument, with somebody on eye level, I would do things like that. Do you know the saying: "When you're the smartest person in a room, you're in the wrong room."? That's why I won't answer your teenage jabbering any more.
