Sixty women, with almost no military training and no weapons, maintained the pace and lifestyl...

My great great grandfather was an Italian immigrant born in 1889 he served when his country called and survived. He returned with stories of murder. Explicitly he told my great grandmother (his daughter) how he would stab the Germans in the neck with a bayonet. He also had lung issues due to mustard gas. And eventually died because of lung and breathing complications. And died in 1962. I may have not met you but I will never forget what you did for my country.
whole fucking place smelled like every kind of turd you could imagine !! And it was the hottest and wettest place ive ever been !! Smelled like shit ..sweat...spices...AND A LOT OF FUCKING DEATH

Mr. Griggs a Vietnam veteran, talks about going into combat after MG Ware was shotdown. Officers told the grunts they were going in, and some wouldn't be coming home. True heroes. God bless

It was a pleasure to serve with our leaders back then. The Bn staff were men I'd follow in battle any day. They made us into warriors and allowed us to "test our metal" on as many raids as we could handle. LTC Lingamfelter was an awesome XO. SGT Hutton Recovery NCOIC .
Can you tell me or will you tell me the names of the guys that did that
What about the Korean War? Everyone sems to forget that. I think that was a pretty big operation.
Excellent
I lost my cousin in Vietnam in January of ‘69. He and his platoon were being inserted into an LZ that Army Intelligence said was a quiet LZ. Not so. From the moment the Helicopters touched down they received heavy gunfire. My cousin was killed running for cover. RIP CHARLES. US ARMY. 9th Infantry Division.
RIP soldier.
I want to personally say thank you to Hugh Mills. My second cousin was Sargent Jim Gratton from D Troop, 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry Arrow Platoon, 1st Infantry Division. During an ambush where my uncle was pinned down you went way above and beyond, including maneuvering directly over him to drop down magazines after he ran out of ammo. I didn't get a chance to meet him often, but my grandpa (his uncle) was always so proud of him and let me know how he was doing often. Again, thank you for all the support you gave him and his squad.
i wish every WWI vets stories could be told and remembered for all time. lets be thankful for the interviews we do have. still burns me the German War Archives were bombed, depriving us of TONS of WWI material.

Bravo brother 👏 🙌
I served 1966 thru 1968 with the 1st Sqdrn 10th Cav. 4th Infantry Div. in Vietnam as a 11b10 light weapons infantry. My first moments in 'nam introduced me to first the heat, the smell of burning shit. And a night of KP duty!! All before I sat foot at the 90th replacement battalion !! After a few days at the 90th replacement I was sent to join my unit which at the time was located at tuy HOA on the coast. A few days later we went to camp enari base camp of the 4th infantry near pleiku.... I cannot forget the sight of dragon mountain. Then the"fun" began!! Firefights, ambush patrols, bugs, leeches, monsoon rains, and horrors of horrors, THE Dressed HAM and MOTHERS!! Kia's, wia's, the NVA, and theV.C. wasn't that fun!!! At least I have my CIB!!!
What year is this? Overhead projector???
Sent to Korea after AIT in "66" and being "young dumb and full of c*m", I volunteered to go to Nam and assigned to the BRO I/5 Artillery. Still dumb, I volunteered to become an artillery forward observer with Alpha company 1/26th Inf (Blue Spaders) and experienced Tet in "68". Made it home with out a scratch May 3rd "68". Still in touch with some of my Big Red One brothers.
Thank you 🇺🇲🙂
Did you ever drop mortar rounds from your helo
My Grandfather served in British Army WW1.I have his campaign ribbons.Never met him.My dad said his lungs burned with mustard gas.
how about a Soldier, and the Bde Cdr with Big Red One Patches on both shoulders. Proud moments
Thank you for remembering the female nurses! Those of WWII were absolutely courageous & inspiring to those of us who came along much later (for VN)!
my great grandfather ❤️ so touching reading these comments
The Germans had no strategic air force & their R&D was very eratic. Stuff that had been developed and prototypes in existence in 1938 still wouldn't not be in front line units in 42.
Our station in canto 69 to 70. I was with the 52nd signal company a. Are barracks were right across the street from the tower can I remember the day I saw my first loach helicopter. All I said was what was that, it is so neat.
Good vrs evil......let jew figure out who's who and who's jew
This OKH was full of July 1944 traitors....
I read "Low Level Hell" and I loved that book! It began my love for books by combat veterans, from Korea up to today. That was such a crazy mission, and I imagine it could be hard for your chopper to get airborne carrying the weight of your HUGE BRASS BALLS!
Greatness
My dad was in Nan from march 68 to march 69 with9th infantry division 5th/60th b company mechanized then assingned to 1st infantry division 1st/16th b company mech...Richard Micheal Cronin❤🇺🇲
An amazing book
The lead lease M3 Lee earned the sobriquet "Coffin for 7 brothers' perhaps unfairly. Alongside the Panthers and the Tigers the Nazis fielded Mk2 and 3 both inferior to the Lee and a number of open topped makeshift Anti-tank/assault guns. The best feature of the M3 Medium was it's 75 MM main gun that fired a very useful HE round and perhaps would have been better deployed as SP Artillery or as assault guns.
Aloha All ! My favorite combat sketch artist is Howard Brodie. I did an episode on him in my Season 1. Support the Troops. Never Forget. Peace
RIP Rose Morozewicz Edward "Eddie" Morozewicz !Czyz to nazwisko nie brzmi tak swojsko polsko:....!
He kinda sounds like tom hanks
Pretty crazy . My last unit in RVN was as a Blue medic with D Troop , turned F Troop 3/4 at Lai Khe . After the rest of the 25th had di di'd . Great video !
Congratulation
James said a huge truth there at the end. The 82nd Inf Div was called the "All American" Div as the army was trying to mix the states up and get away from sectional units. James says that WWI was just a generation away from the Civil War and the Southern & Northern men were proud of of their dads and grandfathers for their fight in the CW, but then the army was throwing in immigrants.
My grandfather was B company, Blue Spaders. 1966-1967. John T Sampson. He passed of cancer June 2023.

This guy has the most annoying voice ever -- and you guys are absolutely nefarious and complete liers. I can't wait. Glory be that beautiful set day you shall reap.
And after all of that we now have a US open border policy put in place by one Joe Biden that allows illegals in our country that are taking away jobs and services from black people.
