There's a 10amp fuse between steering locking and engine cont. There's also a ac switch with a black connector is some times along the thicker aluminum pipe from the ac compressor you can't miss it. But check your fuse first. Or by tge firewall. You can go online punch in ac switch that way you'll know what to look for. Good luck hope you get it fixed.

I am from Ohio actually NE Ohio I roamed Chapel Hill as teenager and actually worked there in the Woolworths Harvest House Restaurant. In between jobs I visited several in my area and into Western Pennsylvania. I assuming Columbus or the Cincinnati area.

I wanted to add this comment for future viewers. I looked at owners manual. No help. Service manual: Found a section on interior lights but not exterior. I dont know what the hell was up with that but I was getting very frustrated. After watching this video it was clear what to do but my panel just would not come down. Finally I gave up and pulled very hard. It came off in a literal explosion sound when all of the pins released at once. I probably broke 5 of them. But then I looked closer. If you pause your video at 2:25 and look at the corner there you'll see that one pin are isn't a circle its u shaped. Its almost like to me you pry it back and then move the whole panel to the side to release it from all the pins at once, not just pry the heck out of it until the pins break or they rip out of the body. There was just no way to get a pry tool to some of those pins so I think I'm right. looking at my panel it looks like I should have pried it from (this is hard to describe) the top left and right, looking at it as if you were sitting inside the trunk with it closed. Then hit it with a rubber mallet to one side to not pull the pins out, but slide the large panel to the side, with the pins remaining in the body.
Thanks for your comment when I did it I did break two of the pins but everything snaps back into place you really don't need to take off the whole panel off it could stay hanging but if you want to do it more professionally then I guess that's the way to go I just did it quick but thanks for watching the video

Bruce, thanks for this video, I need to do same :-(. Question. You said you broke couple of clips from the plastic cover, did the panel clipped in right or loose due to those couple of broken clips? Thanks!
