I prefer ETFs which are more diversified. Investments for potential passive income including dividends: REITs, preferred, Treasuries, Municipal Bonds, Junk Bonds, Utilities, Energy, MLPs, International Dividends, U.S. Dividends, etc.
Dude, your financial advice is 💯, and you know it. 101 stuff and that works long term, cash is king, cds at 5; percent, i day trade with 20 percent, 40 in cash, 40 in real estate, and can live retired in US, but brother your converting me to SE ASIA, great information and so well done PEACE to you!!!
Content was great but technically, the judder throughout made it unenjoyable to watch.
4 years later, are you okay? That is an absolute awesome vlog. What didn't you keep going? Hoping all is well.
Please tell me the name of the violin song in the beginning
Your selection of musics are fantastic..
car rental not recommended due to heavy traffic all day long. motorbike rental is a betterr choice to get around Penang Island.
hey man, fantastic video - very impressive how u filmed and edited it all like a proper tv show! so did u move to penang and are still there now? ive been at least 20 times sometimes for a few weeks (breaks or visa runs etc from thailand) but will prob base in penang more longer soon. would be great to grab a beer and a chit chat on the seafront sometime when im there. Cheers, Sam
What about health insurance, visa expenses ?
26:46 the way he smoothly makes a conversation with only two words he know 😂
You found a much better lifestyle in Malacca than London. Very well planned architecture, modern and brand new homes and cheaper than a y western countries. I don't even have a bedboard for my bed. Can I visit you in my next visit?
Your background music...so owesome sir.... brilliant
The minimum 1 million price for foreigners purchasing property in Malaysia excludes most foreigners from property ownership there. Few people have $211,000 to throw around on a property in a foreign country. The message is clear: only the richest foreigners are welcome here. It's a pity that even poor countries are getting in on this gig, and perpetuating such blatant class division between the ultra-rich and everybody else, because now the West is so expensive many Westerners can barely afford to live in their home countries. Meanwhile, all the places where it used to be cheap to live, are incentivizing millionaires to move there, and making restrictions that exclude people of more modest incomes. It seems like we are seeing a "gentrification" of the third world . At this rate the world will soon be a giant gated community. Are there any places left in SE asia or other regions of the world where it's possible to buy nice properties at prices more people can actually afford?
Great video... Thanks 😊
Hi, can you please help name the area which you rented the condo? What is the expat area called?
37:04 rent cost
That is not Char Koay Teow (Stir Fried Flat noodle) but Char Koay Kak (Stir Fried Radish cake)
Just a note. Breakfast was not Char Koay Teow but Char Koay Kak…

So envious of malaysians.. they get everything good and cheap !
not cheap for them
this video is amazing why you stop making videos?
I find it hard to believe a grown man would drink a coke.
What an incredibly weird thing to say. Adults all over the world enjoy a refreshing Coca Cola everyday.
Exceptionally well produced. Too bad no further episodes.
Did you not make any other videos? Loved the Penang one
What kind of visa did you get to stay in Penang to stay more than a year please let me know I’m a new subscriber to your channel and would like to retire in Penang as a expat please let me know thanks 🙏
To get residence there is extremely expensive and out of reach for most. But you can leave and enter every three months on the visa exemption. Just make sure you leave before the expiry date in your passport each time.
I resonated deeply with the beautiful message at the very beginning of this video. And realized the more i watched, the more i wanted to began my travels to distant lands sooner instead of later. The energy that was put out during this video was that of kindness and compassion. You have helped to put this lovely city and its people as a must see, and must spend some time getting immersed into the culture there in the near future. Ty so much for doing this and being so transparent with your information and the ideas behind them. Hope you will find a way to share more about ur life and the experiences u have had since being there, or wherever you might go next! Namaste 🙏
Thank you for making such a kind well-spoken comment.
The huge thing about Malaria is that you as a foreigner can buy property. As far as I know that’s the only Asian country that allows this . But what the video did not critically mention is the high cost for getting permanent residency. It’s about 400 k USD ! You can do the 90 days tourist visa , with a visa run 4 times a year , but it’s wobbly . They could not let you back in .
Anyone lived in Mexico and Malaysia? I'm from the UK and have spent 3 months in Malaysia. I loved it. Looking to explore Mexico next. And feedback would be greatly appreciated 🙂
its been 3 years since u made this you should do more videos
Got mbjb approval?
We used a Malaysian production company, so I assume so.
'Great people, everyone is friendly, kind...' and then at 33:00 talking about security and showing guardhouses like in prisons 😂😂😂
16 years old lmaooooo
What is 16 years old?
@@theexpattvshow127the craft guys wife
Only 1 video on your channel? Wish you did more because you have a talent for this.
I love this video and I will need you guys to shop for me, please.
I'm glad you like it. Thank you.
Not a bad lifestyle for about a couple of grand per month. I think you need to add some extra for spending money when you travel , also more for “ extras” like gym , massages, a few clothing items , medical , dental, cleaning lady, etc. Still for a couple of grand US per month it’s not bad. You ain’t living like that in SF for two grand a month.
In SF!?!?! &2k per month would cover food and parking. Haha
Wow this is an amazing documentary! I’ve lived in Malaysia from 2003 to 2009, amazing country. Visited Penang only one time for 4 days. Planning to come back to M’sia again soon.
Thank you friend.
there are 281million Migrants in the world. where did you come up with the 58 million Number. and an expat and a Migrant is the same thing.
I thini they are slightly different. An Expat probably does not have the intention to say in most cases. Either way, thanks for watching.
I am from Malaysia, the Malaysia Government and Malaysia Royal Police work closely with Myanmar Military / Junta that are killing everyone in Myanmar. Malaysian government is helping people kidnap innocent people and torturing them until they die. Please help raise awareness, google Malaysia abductions and youll see that these cases go cold because the Malaysian police are doing these crimes. This month a woman (Thuzar) , her husband, and three CHILDREN have been missing for 4 weeks!! I dont know her but this has raised many questions in my city and everyone wants to leave Malaysia. Please do your research before coming here, foreigners are targets in Malaysia and its sad because soon nobody will come to our country. Kuala Lumpur is a hideout for many criminals / corrupt police. Please, please, please be aware of your surroundings if you visit! There is a video of Raymond Koh being abducted by 20 people in black SUVs/bikes are have masks also, look it up! Malaysia government systematically abducts people they dont like and you never hear from them again! I advise not to visit this country until the government gives answers on all these missing people.
half half chinese malay abt 10% indian and the rest
❤
*Welcome to Malaysia Truly Asia Good foods - Enjoyed Thanks for Sharing very good videos* 🇲🇾💝❤️💗💖😍🥰💕💓💖💗❤️💝💖🇲🇾
Actually, the hawker was cooking Koay Kak not char Koay Teow!
The cost of one COSTCO run a month for food is fairly reasonable.
Colombia is a country not = Columbia is a province, I guess they meant the country since they referenced Miami.
