HiI might be wrong about some of my answer. But I see Joby sparing no expense on every part of their design. Nothing off the shelf! I'm sure this comes at a higher cost, however hopefully it will pay returns. I think JoeBen has around 160 patents in his name. Maybe some will lead to products they can market? I should also say I'm a retired machinist/mechanic that worked for Delta Air Lines 22 years. And I've been a machinist since 1974. Next I've been trying to watch boths presentations. Something I've noticed with JoeBen and everyone else when they present. You can see and hear they're excitement. Never short for words. I like that environment. I don't get that feeling watching Archer. I'm not saying Archer isn't well run or engineered. But I will say I get the vibe, it's a job. I'm still critiquing and haven't bought into either yet since I'm new and green. But I will be investing. One last thing, my interest started when an old friend called a week ago. He owns a machine shop in Ohio doing precision CNC grinding. Telling me he's making parts for Archer. Not directly but another company sub contracting with Archer. He's been approached about being bought by this company. And ironically I was born and raised in Ohio and now living in Georgia. Both States where new facilities are being built.

Being involved in manufacturing all my life? I like the fact they're teamed with Toyota and they seem to be revolutionizing every single part. Very innovative! I came here because a friend today told me he's making parts for Archer and I started researching.

Its not a threat to american evtol companies because their focus in on different markets. But if ehang succeds it will open the door to the rest of the evtol companies. Ehang does not need to go to the US to succeed. They already have more than 2.000 million potential customers in East Asia. ( China, India, Indonesia, Japan...) Their intention is to grow within that region, not in the US. Please americans understand that the US is no longer the center of the Universe. There are more countries, not only yours. E hang is already selling evtols, signing contracts and mass production. Profits will come soon. A whole completely diffetent model than archer and joby. Same with lilium, its not a current threat to joby and archer. Different evtols serves different needs.

"More than a quarter of the fund has already been deployed into companies that include spacecraft maker York Space Systems and small satellite launcher FIREFLY AEROSPACE, enabling them to buy software engineering provider Emergent Space Technologies and satellite transportation service Spaceflight Inc, respectively. "Other AEI space investments so far include infrastructure firm REDWIRE and SIERRA SPACE, the technology company behind the Dream Chaser cargo spaceplane." AEI space investments "has around $6.2 billion of assets under management after making more than 130 investments since launching its first institutional private equity fund nearly a decade ago."

This sector will be MASSIVE. Get in NOW is all I can say. Buying more Joby tomorrow.

IMO there are 2 design concepts to use for successful evtols in an urban air taxi setting. They are what Joby and Beta technologies have designed. Archer has built something along the lines of what Joby built, but it is a larger, heavier variant that has some design flaws that appear during low speed forward flight. Imo Archer won't be commercially ready until 2028. Ehang as an autonomous 2 seater won't even be competitive as an urban air taxi outside of China. Vertical Aero has a design similar to Archer and they have a long way to go, as they're having issues just hovering.

eHang is miles ahead of Joby and Archer. Archer going bankrupt soon. eHang has a digital skyway, fully autonomous, and has a 300-mile range plane nearly certified as well. eHang is the easy investor choice here. They're going to start scaling the 216 to carry dozens and dozens of people.

Can you make a video where you try to find an evtol lifting and carrying the weight of a human for the longest time without edits? Jetson has one for 3 minutes the time might be slowed but that's the longest ive seen. Its little and the bigger they get the worse they would be.

They have a type certificate for unmanned only. They can't lift a person longer that 3 minutes either.

Great job on the eVTOL content. This sector doesn't get alot of attention right now. One thing I don't hear a lot about is Joby's relationship with Uber. The Uber app was supposed to allow people to get a Joby ride. I don't know if that is still going to happen. If so, that's big time for Joby since they will have access to the entire Uber user base and infrastructure.

I believe at this stage, it’s wise to invest in Joby AND Archer. They both got good backing by major companies. I really don’t see any one of them dying out. Just like how you have Honda, Toyota, Nissan etc I believe it can be the same.
