use the pillars it takes a few seconds for him to stop and start shooting so get behind it right away wait for him to move to get a shot on you shoot him few times or throw a grenade while he does that and repeat

AFAIK there are only robot spiders. You can look them up on Google. They have 8 legs and a flame thrower.

Thanks man for the anwser i think i can handle them they not that spider looking also since they have a flamethrower i assume they not jump on you right? 😅 Also are there Able to climb walls/ceilings and are there coming in swarms at a certain point or just like 1-3 at a time? @@Roqxxx They don’t jump at you and are a more rare enemy (but there’s one in the beginning of the game though. I can’t recalled getting stormed by them xD But there’s another type of enemy that rushes you in numbers at a certain point in the game, but they look like a toy car. Edit: And no, they can’t climb walls :)

I am playing JA2 Straciatella again atm. What was the difference they added in 1.13 regarding CQC? Was a long time ago I played 1.13. At least you are in turn based mode in original JA2 😂

As @Claude-Eckel mentioned in the pinned comment, achieving 4 bars on the stealth kill meter guarantees a 100% success rate. However, if another NPC spots you during the attempt or the detection-meter fills, the success chance seems to decrease. It's a bit peculiar; they should make it a guaranteed 100% hit when you're in a hidden state. Many players, including myself, often reload the save game to ensure success. While recording this video, it took me 4-5 attempts until it worked haha. Nevertheless, with practice, silenced weapons, and high marksmanship, the success rate becomes almost 100% every time.

No, I must correct this a trifle bit. There's no guaranteed stealth kill. Chances are to still screw it up, never happened to me. Until now. So, indeed, lucky you!

@@Claude-Eckel the stats say dexterity increases stealth kill chance. does your stealth merc even with high dexterity still fail their stealth kills sometimes?

If you kill one with a suppressed sniper and stays hidden, then another merc that is hidden can kill another guy. I'm not sure if this work with more than two enemies, but if you got two marksman they should be enable to kill two guards without raising the alarm. Especially useful for the A2 mine. You can kill most of the map before being seen.

Just one of many reasons why this game routinely pisses me off. It's good, but holy HELL is it terribly explained. Makes me miss the days when complex tactical/strategy games like this actually came with manuals.

They must have been on the sauce when designing that one.

where did you find those weapons all i have is the rapier the pistol, mag pulse, shotgun and sparqbeam

if hes under equiped then i must have missed a lot more then i thought even though i thought i picked up everything...are you supposed to go somewhere before this after destroying the laser?

You got this! 😄 Consider switching up your strategy. If you have EMP grenades, try using them consistently to keep it stunned. I personally only used one, and I can't even figure out why I didn't use all of them.

Thanks mate :) I don't remember my level, but it was a couple of days after release and I was not OP by any means xD After the 5th dead I decided to record it, because this seemed to be the first major problem "boss" to me. Little did I know he will visit again haha

@@Null-byte Like I said, you did an amazing job. I am at a pretty decent level and I still can't handle that boss. To say the least, Elden Ring is not for the faint of heart. Take care my friend, looking forward to your other uploads.

That's weird. I had another fight with him @ Warmaster's Shack, I think there he tried to grab me (and he often got me) Maybe he does his grab if you are in mid range and the AI spams this move?

@@Null-byte Maybe, but watching your guide a dozen times, trying to replicate it was driving me crazy cus his moveset was so different. I ended up throwing lightning bolts and him until he died. Mid range is definitely the worst place to be though.

True, it's at first super hard and small mistakes can easily lead to your death. But once you got the patterns, you just have to get the timing right.
