@@djam7484 back in the 80's and early 90's we didn't have phones like you spoilt brats do now. so filming wasn't as common. you spoilt brats wouldn't last two seconds in my era .

Harvey... U know wuts ruining ur airflares....? U have this idea that an airflare is a walkover. Try not using a vertical handstand... and throw it like a mid level swinging airflare... Use that same concept of a mid level swinging airflare... but bring it high.. into a high airflare... ( But forgetting about the handstand walkover ) Then keep hips high and catch on other side of your body..... Once you reset ur way of thinking, i believe you will nail it.
Thanks, before I trained it the low way but I took a break because other people I know learnt through doing a hop over and it have them control for multiple, will occasionally train the low one too
@@harvenator77 The problem with the hop over technique / when u do it from a walkover / most are unable to have a leg swoop.. So it turns into a straight line / no leg swoop/ high / hopping situation. And because there is no swoop, it usually only goes in a straight line. Unless you can still do it no swoop, but break out of that straight line / and throw over your chest ( not head ) and catch on the other side of your body. I wanna see more high airflare practice.. I live vicariously through you, lol. I wanna see you break out of your high airflare straight line.. With or without a swoop. Just be like fuk it, im gonna throw, be airborne for a second, and catch on the otherside of my body. ( but instead of going airborn/ most rely on the hansdstand )

Its funny how flares come about. Before u know it your practicing weeks or months unable to do 1 or 2 and then bam, out of nowhere ur doing them like nothing. Thats what happened with me atleast

People who practice high think that a reach over hop will magically initiate a pike & knee bent hop. That is why they get stuck with banana walkover handstand hops for 5 years & give up.
Let me see ur pike? Pike form is key for ur high airflare style, munch, & tombstone airflare. Dope hand hops btw🔥🔥

Props for ur hops! But ur banana hops are showing up in ur high airflare. That's why it's good to keep the knees more tucked toward stomach than the banana hops. You won't get the proper feel of the airflare hop if u banana, u will always walkover banana cuz of it. Also the zig zag hop , good job ! It's the same as the hop, same high hips, same feeling on your upper deltoid shoulders, just a slightly different pump, if u loose the high legs on the zig zag, then u will fall out of orbit. Reason I asked about ur pike, is because it seems to be lacking in your high airflare if u wanna get it down like bboy nono, or when lil G does the slow pike hopping airflare, when he decides to. Dood in teh background is the guy with the secret sauce for the high airflare who can do munch, u should ask him for tips when u throw to correct ur angles.
Props for your hand hops... But it needs to be more knee tucked closer to stomache type of kick. Same micro hops like u were doing, but more tucked toward your stomache. For a couple kicks u were doing the banana kicks, but props cuz u stayed up. In regards to your high airflare. Can i see your standing folding pike? Is it like Lil G's? Or is it more like a capoeira nike ?
U should have airflares by now. Just go for the traditional airflare with the swoop but keep ur hips high. Use more of the sideways pike muscle. Uve developed a really strong handstand from 10,000 high hopping walkovers, but have weak side shoulder muscles. If u practiced traditional airflares from day 1, u would already by able to do the swinging high airflares slow cuz ur muscles would have developed by now. U developed the wrong muscles. Good for handhops and etc. But u will be stuck in an endless loop unless u change your style of airflare.

My friend Kirk (Havikoro) spent an entire Summer only practicing airflares repeatedly all day. It took him a while but they got smoother and easier. Keep it up 👍

When you hop your back is arching and because your legs are bent it’s pulling you down. Try extending your legs on the catch and then of you need to crunch to chamber you can
His back is arching because he is too vertical. He is not able to straighten his legs because of that. It will always be a back arch when he reaches over. That is why the walkover method is a lie. It simply doesnt work and isn't an airflare. Think of it this way. I am going to lose my balance standing up, lean, and hop to the other side of the line. That is an airflare. Now stand up, you are vertically balance ( aka handstand ) , lean, and hop to the other side of the line. It doesn't work, because when u were standing ( aka handstand ) you were already balanced. Therefore, there is no hopping to the other side of the line. It doesnt count.
This is a variation of an airflare that is now used as a method to safely train airflares into its traditional "horizontal" look. It's definitely considered an airflare once cleaned up. And all he has to do to lower it is drilling those vertical airflares and going down into windmills. @@kendalgee5808

I like how when you NY start, you stall... then go 1 & 2 hand as gravity pulls ur legs into a swoop almost.. but then u revert back to the vertical handtand tuck reachover...instead.. try the swoop leg with ur hips high and throw.. ur visualization of the pattern shows ur dead set on the high hopping style but ur form is off.
