Backrooms - Intruder
Просмотров 2356 месяцев назад
27.2.2024 Hi, this is my 2nd animation in my fan made backrooms series. This time it took me a lot more time to render as I switched from EEVEE to Cycles (if ykyk, I'm not gonna explain it here). I'm still learning how to animate properly and edit sounds so that they sound atleast a bit realistic but I still have a long path infront of me. Lore: Okay, now I know what that thing was. And it does...

26.2.2024 Hi everyone, this is my first animation in blender so I hope you'll like it. I don't have a good PC so I have to render in EEVEE but I think the quality isn't too bad. I wanted to join the backrooms found footage trend so I made mine and I really enjoyed making it so I'll probably continue. Enjoy the video :) Lore: I don't know how I got here. I don't know where I got. All I know is t...

Nice work. (I watched "Building" before your first two.) Your original elements are a lot more interesting than all the other videos out there that just follow canon as to how things are supposed to look.

That was a nice little adventure, or I should say, series of little adventures.

I would want to see what's in the boxes! There could be tools in there? And something you can use as a weapon against entities.

I knew as the lights above him are off, the ‘ceiling ‘ comes directly downwards crushing anyone that stands in the way. These wall beams are modified so the ceiling isn’t ‘fixed’. Whoever thought of that to have ceilings that seemed to serve its cruel purposes?

In advance sorry for the wall of text It's a writer's habit of mine. I guess you can consider this comment my review which I don't usually do on a youtube comment section. I can very well forgive any of the beefy sound, animations and everything else (I often ignore that kind of stuff in general anyways) as you've certainly gotten further than me in terms of actually putting up a video with a rendered video and I've been working with all this stuff for over 10 years <=== This don't mean I'm really top notch in the field as I don't even get paid for it yet but I certainly know a thing or two. What I think could use some work: - Really don't want to be a nit picky perfectionist critic, but the wall paper on level 0 ain't usually randomly rotated the arrows are usually pointing up. - On the pool rooms level the dark blue tiled sections are usually dark where as the white ones are usually well lit. What I liked (even found to be inspiring): - The atmosphere for level 0 is different from other videos in a way to my liking. - I would say your best graphic scene was roughly at 2:37 mostly down the black tile floored hallways. - I like the idea of seeing sections of the other levels from darkened windows like at 3:02. - Haven't seen people do the camera zoom in and slow zoom out work that you did for the chase scene at: 5:06. - Like the unique structures you hardly see in your typical backrooms video such as 4:15 darkened stair case with sections of handrail missing. 6:01 entrance to the pool rooms and 7:20 with not only seeing other backroom sections but also the beams sticking out of an otherwise floorless abyss. - At 7:57 for a split second I though that there was a flooded room just behind the glass door until it got opened. liked the simple room layout. - At 12:17 don't know what's with the random green pipe but that what to like about the backrooms randomness is you'll see stuff like that. Certainly keep that creative flow going. My advice (Don't feel pressured to take my advice I'm just happy to give tips here and there whether or not anyone follows through with it): - For research I recommend watching some videos from youtuber: 'Broogli' here: www.youtube.com/@Broogli/videos mainly the videos of him explaining the levels, play list here: ruclips.net/p/PLURAP6-nN8EU1zgWzREyl4FenZfSkzdEb entities/creatures playlist here: ruclips.net/p/PLURAP6-nN8EWRdjSVHc3auumGaFz95G6i and objects/items/weapons here: ruclips.net/p/PLURAP6-nN8EURueyRC-ScvoofrE-oSOho - Other than that go around watching other people's backroom videos, also either play if you can afford it or watch videos of backrooms games namely 'escape the backrooms' game is good for getting an atmospheric feel. - Maybe jut down some notes to do with each level. Final thoughts: I liked this enough to subscribe and bell to see where you go with this.
