Honestly I am just so sick of Harley. She used to be just there Joker’s side-kick basically (only good character growth she ever had was in Injustice Gods among us comics especially the Ground zero one where the events wrap up from her perspective, just my opinion tho..her obsession with Joker gets nicely explained there without some sappy bs story..) There are so many more cooler female characters in DC that never got to shine because she is literally everywhere. But seeing how they are treating female characters, my fav girl Zatanna/Starfire, Raven or Golden glider would look like crap 😭

I honestly don't understand this Suicide Squad nonsense. NO ONE on planet earth cares about these characters. The movie about them was a ridiculous disaster. The second movie didn't even pay off. The Harley movie didn't pay off. Nobody cares about Suicide Squad but they keep making this garbage. Honestly, WB is just a bunch of retards.

I got a 10 hour trial. Simulated all my training and beat career. Won’t be buying it.

Thankfully, ea decided to give gamepass users a 10 hour try before you buy session. After 11 crashes ( on a brand new series X console ), a corrupt save, and around 50 T pose glitches within the first 5 hours, they convinced me just how trash of a company they are. They even gave me a 5% discount code if I bought the elite bundle of the game! ( £30 extra than the game on its own ). How generous

I find the game play mind numbing fun. It’s not great, but fun…with friends. Also I think if we didn’t kill them until the end. Have a major bossfight at the end and hint throughout that they’re fighting the brainwashing enough to hold back but not enough to recover. Have Wonder Woman help them in the fight by having her take on Superman while the squad fights the rest. She dies, Superman realizes the team is standing over the leagues bodies and he continues to fight them, but he’s weakened from his fight with Wonder Woman allowing him to lose. Not perfect but wouldn’t be as disrespectful and would be fun

Easily should have been co-op/10 even if the games boring goofing on it with friends makes it fun

The game is fun, but it gets boring after a while, especially after beating the story. At least in the third game you have a area where you can kill a bunch of zombies. Plus they should have just stuck with gangs instead of introducing aliens. Even the third game still had you fighting gangs. And finally, I know everyone loves Johnny Gat, but for the sake of the story they shouldn’t have brought him back.

I'm glad some people are actually calling out the whole Wonder Woman thing. Harley Quinn's TV show does this too where they simp for all the female heroes, but usually shit on anybody who's a man. Especially White men.

To me, thinking of bigotry as an opinion is like thinking arsenic is a flavor. And honestly, games can have progressive messages being good games. If you want a good example, look at the Fire Emblem games set in Tellius (Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn): those games came out in 2005 and 2007 respectively, long before the woke movement and the attack on it, yet they would be considered heavily woke for the fact they deal with things like racism, organized religion and religion-controlled governments, on top of there being conspiracies and people trying to revise history in trying to hide the truth, with one conspiracy being by a guy trying to have the world destroyed and recreated to be better (in other words, these couple of games would be a big target of criticism from guys like Ben Shapiro and Ron DeSantis), and yet, these two games are very well loved because one, the stories were done incredibly well where they blend in with the land of Tellius, making the whole thing feel organic, and two, they both had great gameplay (Radiant Dawn being *especially* epic), on top of both also having the first lord character that wasn't a noble by birth, nor had a special birthright, but was just a humble commoner while being an all around great guy: the guy of course being Ike, who a lot of you outside of the Fire Emblem know may at least know from Smash Bros. With Suicide Squad, the whole progressive thing comes off as more for shock value than being substantive, and even my own brother, who is as progressive as I am, says that companies like Disney just don't get the whole thing of being woke, thus why Disney has been losing money, and Suicide Squad pretty much doing the same for Warner Bros, because it was just for shock value as part of some get-rich quick scheme while not trying to offend certain demographics, hence why they turned to Sweet Baby while trying to justify the game being a lame live service that focuses more on the engagement than just trying to make the game good. And this all ties into a rant from the movie called God Bless America (damn good movie, btw, and you should all watch it), where the main characters calls this generation the "Oh no, you didn't say that" generation, where a shocking comment has more weight than the truth.

just bought it for $40 but I do agree with this review for the most part. After 3 years and on a new system they shouldve put more work into it. A Pride mode wouldve been great to bring back. I'm glad they tried to change the submission game though.

Well it IS hinted in Arkham Knight that Ivy didn't die, at the spot where she presumably died is a plant covered in pieces of her shirt and that's part of a riddle, so her coming back is ok.
