Bangkok Uncovered: The parts some travellers just can’t conquer!
I'm in Bangkok, Thailand! Today we are exploring everything Bangkok has to offer. We start the day at the MBK Center and then make our way down to the City Complex and Indra Square to catch the traditional Bangkok vibe. Along the way we eat noodles, kebabs and we stop at Ruam Sab Market to sample streetfood. Now it's time to catch a boat down the canals to see some wholesale markets. Great question! I managed to see Shiva’s statue and apparently there are also statues of Shiva’s teacher, son and wife. I didn’t get the chance to see them.

As a Thailand resident who has recently been to Laos for 3 weeks, I cannot agree with you. English and Chinese are widely spoken, things are not significantly cheaper, apart from beer. The people speak Thai as well.
Hello friend 👋🏼 Everybody will have a different experience. I found the water sports, hotel costs, food, tours and public transport to be cheaper in comparison to equivalent tourist areas of Thailand. Yes you are correct about Thai being widely spoken 👍🏼
