Hello, what is version mach3?
Mach3 Version 3.043.062 with Win 10 Fix. Check here: cnc4pc.com/blog/post/manual-mach3-configuration-using-thc-1-with-the-ethernet-smooth-stepper-with-macro
How is this electrically connected to a UCCNC controller? I have an AXBB-E.
You cannot connect the C22 directly to the AXBB as it requires a DB25 or UDC26 connector that uses pins 2-9 as inputs and the connector on the AXBB uses pins 2-9 as outputs as outputs. Maybe you can use a C22M1 instead, which communicates through USB: cnc4pc.com/serial-modbus-pendant-interface-card.html
The count should not continue after you have released the dial. That's a guaranteed crash waiting to happen. I've got no idea if this can be amended in the setup
Mach3 has a step or continuous mode. If in step mode, mach3 will ensure that every pulse that you sent is sent to the motor. It also has a setting to do the automatic switchover between the two modes depending on the speed at which you are rotation the MPG. I know this way of doing is not conventional but works if calibrated properly.
I dont do social media and still havnt got Instagram to contact you but can you help me please. I've got my torch set on on a floating head with a limit switch so when the torch lowers it triggers the switch but what pin/setting in mach 3 do I have to have the switch so when the torch lowers and triggers the limit switch I can adjust the hight the torch rises back up before a was making a cut? Thanks

Sir, I am from India, I have some doubts. Can You help or do a video on this??? I use the Same RNR Motion card. 1)Can I use Adhesive Aluminum Tape to wrap the Motor Cables and Signal Cables and earth one end to the Chassie to prevent any EMI-related issues..!? Simply wrapping the cables with a conductive material like aluminum and grounding one end of that wrap to the machine body would discharge any potential voltage spikes that may affect?! If that is effective, Grounding to the Chassie or the electronic/digital /DC ground on the controller board? Which is necessary?
you can show how to put the jumpers on the video not so quickly. and what each jumper means
It is the jumpers to allow the C25XP to power the ESS. Pin 26 on IDC26 connectors of the ESS can make the +5vdc common from the board with the ESS:. It is explained here: warp9td.com/index.php/documentation/doc-ess#Connectors
Can you explain how this is wired
The pendant plugs into a C22 board which is connected to any motion controller with a DB25 or IDC26 style connectors and uses pins 2-9 as inputs: www.cnc4pc.com/pub/media/productattachments/files/mpg2_c22.jpg
Which motion controller are you using for the mach4?
The Ethernet Smooth Stepper
How can i change the default values for the THC speed? 50% is too fast and when i forget to manually adjust it to 10% the part gets ruined.
You need to tune it. We recommend setting it as fast as possible, but not allowing it to just oscillate up and down, like a sewing machine.
@@cnc4pc21 Yes, i just dont know how to edit the screen default for that, i tried changing the value while editing the screen and saved it but relaunching mach 4 it opens back up at 50%
Does your machine Z axis motor move when changing the voltage? Trying to troubleshoot a number of things on my machine and i expected the Z position to move when the thc was fed dummy data
Yes, the Z-axis should move. Here are some things to take into account: - Make sure Mach4 is fully licensed, it may not work on DEMO mode. - Make sure the ARC OK signal is present. - Make sure the THC mode is active.
this does not work, unless there is something else that needs to be switched.
I know it can be tricky, as it is an interlocking system, and one thing depends on the other. That is why we recommend doing and validating this setup Step by Step: cnc4pc.com/blog/post/Wiring_and_testing_a_C86ACCP If something is not working right, please get back to us and we will give you a hand with this: cnc4pc.com/contact/
I have the exact same machine running Mach4 . Would it be possible to view your coding to adapt to my machine. Many thanks
If you look in the description, there is a link to a forum posting where you can find a full description and also links to the C# code used. The code is not complicated and not hard to replicate in lua. If I was going to do it again in Mach4 I would look at the code to have an understanding of the logic, but I would do the script using the Mach4 PMC.
@@cnc4pc21 many thanks again. So I'm making alot of progress, however I need to set my stepper motors relative to the board. Could you please tell me what settings you used . I entered 65 on the z axis but it's no where near right !
not good why threre is lot of delay?
It is not real time as it has serial communication to the PC, but it is really fast. This one works in real time to the motion controller: www.cnc4pc.com/c22-pendant-interface-card.html
Hi! What is the better VFD control board to use with Sherline spindles/motors?
The analog output on this board is isolated, so you can really connect to anything, including the original non-isolated speed controller. Lately we are using this one a lot: www.cnc4pc.com/mini-type-integrated-universal-inverter-vfd-2-2kw.html The price is VERY reasonable, it is easy to use and works great.
That was so quick I have no idea how you set the jumpers.
I am sorry... The jumpers can only be on or off, you put them on.
Nice job! However, I have some remarks: - You don't need to Apply before Save, because Save applies first. - You don't need to Apply/Save macroloop settings, because you have already saved the macroloop settings in the macroloop window and Apply/Save has no effect on macroloop settings. - You don't need to Apply/Save after changing plugin settings, because the Configure plugins window saves all the changes when you close the window and Apply/Save has no effect on plugin configuration. - You don't need to Apply/Save the Modbus settings, because Modbus master is a plugin and UCCNC does not know anything about what the plugin does, so Apply/Save has no effect on any Modbus settings. The Modbus master plugin is written to save all its settings when you exit UCCNC.
Perfect video for this THC!!! Thanks!!
Very good

hello, I am interested in buying the same breakout board, but I have a question, can you explain to me why in your plasma you place an electric cable at the tip of the plasma torch? Thank you hola, me interesa comprar la misma placa break out, pero tengo una duda, me puedes explicar porque en tu plasma colocas un cable electrico en la punta de la antorcha plasma?? gracias
That cable is used for the Touch Sensor. It touches the plate to determine the height at which the plate is. It is connected to the PTS-1: www.cnc4pc.com/plasma-touch-sensor.html

Does Mach3 support rigid taping with servo as C axis?
No, Mach3 cannot do rigid tapping. This is Mach4, and it cannot rigid tap with the Ethernet Smooth Stepper, but we are doing the rigid tapping action with gcode commands.
Hi!! Can I use this board to control sherline boxes? Thanks since now!
Yes, it will work with a Sherline, but you will be better off using a C41S: www.cnc4pc.com/c41s-pwm-variable-speed-control-board.html It is simpler as it does not require the extra isolated +12vdc power supply, as it has its own DC-DC converter. The analog output is also more linear.

While he sync is impressive, I don't think I'll be tapping any holes like that very soon...
I only have the plasma sense not the plasma senseout
The read out on plasma sense is 2 volt is that what you mean?
The Plasmaseseout puts our open collector discrete signals. Make sure you measure this against the voltage that is powering the unit.
im building table as well with pokey 57 with thc plasma sense the problem im running in to is if i do test run it arc but it wont read out the voltage would you have any idea why this is ? im using mach 3 as well any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
So you lose the unit as soon as the arc starts? I would think you could have a grounding or shielding issue. These units are very sensitive to noise. You can open a Ticket with PoLabs by emailing: support@poscope.com. They should be able to help you.
@@cnc4pc21 if i do the test plasma goes on and when it stop you will see a little spike about 2volt and then its gone i contact pokey this is what they want me to do move the plasma sense far a way prom the pokey use shielded cable for plasma voltage and shorten the 10 pin cable with the red connectors from pokey and plasma sense adapter . is it possible that there is a setting wrong in mach 3? thanks for the really fast response
hello i got a reading now ground the table more and moved the plasma sense closer to the cutter but now i dont get a ack ok signal do you know what that can be thanks Robert

please help me how to setup and configure pins for THC on mach3 for tb6560 4 axis driver
friend, I have a doubt, this THC also controls the on and off of the torch automatically. I'm a beginner.
The Torch ON/OFF is controlled by a relay from the breakout board.
Hello Is it possible to install two handwheels on the mah3 to control two axes simultaneously?
Why don’t you want the dc output grounded? Is this because it is pc based?
I have been chasing ground issues with my machines for years. After switching to ethernet connections the issues went away. Kinda strange.
How do you like the plasma sense out?
I have a dmm break out board with an ess board, how would I connect this device to that board
Your should steady the camera -- dashing back and forth from the control to the computer is not how videos are made. The content is otherwise useful.
Is it possible to go on in the nc program, if there is a power grid failure?
That would be a question for the supplier of your controller.

It’s absolutely not specific to switching supplies. I always ground the output. Unless I want to chase crazy faults all day.
Hello men this exactly what i need to control my servo direct with mach3, can you please tell me if this board also can be use to AC Servomotors and DC servomotors? because in both cases use step and dir mode, the only different is the power supply i think because the relay works in each current.
